I had to know if it really worked. I just had to. I was so curious! It does! It works better than I'd imagined, like it really cools! It didn’t at first because it was out in 90+ degree Fahrenheit weather outside. Once it cooled down, it really felt cool! I read on the Internetz that the mica cooling nylon makes you feel 2-5 degrees cooler on contact. Definitely! I'm laying on in without my head touching it, but my chin feels cooler now! It says that it makes you feel cool by absorbing the heat from you. Some of these things can make you feel twice as cooler in five minutes! Quite amazing world we live in. Just wow. I used it last night, too, and sometimes it made me too cold! Wow! It’s so amazing! So wonderful on hot, humid days and nights like the ones we’ve been having. It’s so nice! I felt so cool (and still do because I'm using it now, too). The heat's made it so hard to sleep lately. Who knew things like this exist? Other people in the house now want one (or a blanket made of the same fabric). It arrives super vacuum packed, just like it shows in the product page video. It came in the exact same box, too! It was so flat XD It poofed up pretty fast. It's sewn neatly with no loose threads. It has product tags. It feels smooth, kind of like my silk charmeuse scrunchie. The details are all embroidered on. I think it’s safe for smaller children, but maybe they’d get too cold? It’s so cool and comfortable! I hope they make a bird soon. Beware, there will be fighting if there’s only one! It really lives up to its claims! So amazing! Make sure you get the cooling one, they have a plain, non-cooling plush that looks very similar. P.S. It isn't enough to just touch it. Lay on it or sit on it for five minutes and your body will get cooler. It's so amazing! 10/17/23 Update: I had a fever the other day and it felt really good to hug the seal the other night. He felt really cool. Oh, I forgot to update that I went and bought the seal. If you’re looking for a cooling effect, the unicorn works WAY better than the seal (so someone in my house keeps stealing it so I had to get another one and I didn’t want two of the same in the house). I think the unicorn works better because there’s a lot more cooling fabric on it. Still, I was very grateful I had the seal to make me feel better when I had a fever. Maybe this is a good gift for a child who’s sick with a fever, too?

I purchased this for my son because he is always hot and wants something cold at bedtime. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because it’s a cute stuffed animal and he does like it. However, there is ZERO COOLING FACTOR. Just an expensive stuffed animal.

I love this! This stays cool so well! It is very cool to the touch and actually retains its coolness. Even just lightly touching it you can feel how effective the cooling aspect is. I also really like the soft and smooth texture. The face is just precious and I love the little wing detail. It has a simple face and the light purple almost fades into the light pink color. I like that though. It is very comfortable to lay on and great for hot weather or after working out. I like having these because I'm outside a lot and after exercise it is nice to have something soft and cool to lay on. The fabric is thin so I recommend being careful not to snag it. I do wish it had more stuffing but I am someone who loves big, fluffy pillows. I highly recommend this and I think I'll get another for my dog to match her cool-down bed.
