I can definitely relate to this book, and I think a lot of other skaters will as well. I really appreciate the author's perspective and the way he introduces skateboarding; not just as a game/sport, but as a way to open new opportunities. This is a great message for kids, and is a nice departure from the usual plot-lines found in books in this genre. My 7 y/o son really likes this book and we have read it together on numerous occasions. He has recently started skateboarding as well, so I think he can personally relate to the story. 5 stars and a great addition to your bookshelf! ... show more
