I have always wanted to try quilling, and finally had the time to give it a go. This was a great starter set for somebody who has never tried it before. I like the papers that were included in the beginners tools. The big fail is that before the box was ever opened it had microfine glitter all over my house and my car that had leaked through the box. There is zero reason for there to be glitter in this kit. a full star being removed for the hot mess that it left everywhere

A GREAT kit with all a beginner needs! I'm an adult beginner and found this kit has everything I need to get started. The tools are a good quality, the quilling paper has lots of colors to choose from, glue to hold and/or adhere the piece, tiny gems for added pizazz, several sizes of cardstock to finish projects, and instructions for several designs that are easy to follow. There is also a clear case that everything fits in well. I am pleased with this purchase!!

My kid and I were able to make a birthday card for his grandma very easily with this. He quickly picked up the techniques and it was simple to figure out how to improve on the basics. Even though it is delicate work, a kid could do it with the help of an adult. I wish they had a bigger kit!
