Love this pillow for many reasons! First the back support is phenomenal. As a larger chest mother not having to lean forward to feed has been a game changer. Next, this pillow has a large laying pad for your baby. No matter what side you’re feeding your little one is well supported! Side note: it also doubles as tummy time support for your little one! Super cute print!! I was so excited to find this on Amazon after getting targeted for ads all over the place haha I've used a Boppy for my first two babies but really wanted to try this for my third but none of the other designs were trendy or cute, then this one came along! Honestly love the pattern. It's also very supportive and keeps the baby sitting pretty high so you don't have to do any bending over to nurse. I tried it out for the first week or so after having my baby and loved it.... Then I just stopped using it and ultimately returned it. It's just pretty bulky and felt impractical to use all the time! Especially when I'm dealing with my other two kids. I usually just grab a pillow and get as comfortable as I can instead of reaching for this thing... Especially when I'm holding a baby in one arm. This pillow is more like a two arm job to get it positioned! So yes, works well, but doesn't feel practical long term. Or mostly I see it as useful when you're learning the ropes of nursing and need all the support to get into position. And lastly, it definitely screams NURSING PILLOW. I do wish the design was more discreet but I guess you can't have it all! ... show more

As a dad bottle feeding my son, this pillow is great. The pillow provides a firm place to sit my son up to feed. It also gives me back support along with arm support to hold my little boy while I wait for him to fall asleep and or read to him.

If the two most important things to you are back support or a tiny pocket in the front, this may be your thing. Otherwise, it’s just not practical for nursing a baby or bottle feeding. I feel like the cushions are definitely positioned to favor holding your baby with the head on the left side. There is a big hard strap pushing into your elbow on the right side. Not to mention, if you need to hold your baby in the “football position” to drain all your mammary ducts, this pillow is absolutely worthless. It would hurt the baby in that position with the hard Velcro strap on the right side, and wouldn’t support the baby at all on the left. I’m switching back to the Boppy pillow which would support the baby in ANY nursing position including the football position on either side! I can put a pillow or padding behind me if my back needs support. ... show more

We tried a boppy and we were confused why it was so saggy and the babies head was never high enough. A lactation consultant had the Brest friend and it was a night and day difference. It actually has enough support to keep the baby's head at the right height. I recommend the super deluxe since the higher back is more comfortable. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love this product! I already had the original Brest Friend but was looking for something with a little more support. This option provides that with extra back support and the fact that it’s organic cotton is a plus! Love it and will be using it for a long time.
