Grandkids love it. They range in age from 14-2 and all of them love it. For some it’s a nite lite and one even made a camp site in her room with the stars like she was camping out doors

    • Music rotation is very odd

The star projection is fine. My kids love it and it has the usual red, green, blue, and combination color choices. The remote is ok. Doesn’t work great from too far away but it has all the controls you need right there. The music however is interesting to say the least. I’ve shared a room with my kids while this rotated through the music and it has a few songs that a good for sleep (typical music box style lullaby/ classical songs). Then it throws in songs that are sung. “Dashing through the snow” is sung, in an accent, with slightly off lyrics. It’s actually a little comical when you’re not expecting it but does not help you sleep. The other is the bird noises. You’ll be asleep or nearly asleep and then these loud bird chirps start ringing out. Not soothing bird singing but loud constant bird chirps. If you pick one song and repeat it then it’s fine but the rotation isn’t, in my opinion, great for sleep. It’s good for a laugh the next morning, but not sleep. (Although my kids did sleep through the bootleg Xmas carols and bird attack just fine). ... show more

    • Rotator doesn’t work 100%

Likes: 1) the lights are bright and light up the whole room - very beautiful 2) love the multiple color settings 2) automatic shut off timer is nice 3) remote control is very convenient Dislikes: 1) the rotator stopped spinning within 10 mins of turning it on the first night! I tried the 2nd night and it still didn’t work, but on the third night of using it, it finally worked, but not the entire duration it was on for. So, some night, it works and sometimes it doesn’t. It kinda seems like it gets burnt out so easily and fast and if you give it some time, the rotator spinning thing will work again? IDK, but that’s why I gave 3 stars, because I love it otherwise for my son! 2) the music is not the best - my son chose to use Spotify music off the tablet to be played instead ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Changes colors from yellow to multicolored, the moon can multiply by 3 (showing 3 moons if you’d like) or single moon. You can either choose for the projector to rotate or stay still. You can set the timer for up to 5 hours. Various songs from Christmas songs to lullabies. Remote requires 2 AAA batteries. I tried to use the projector with just batteries but the batteries didn’t last at all. So now I use the cord. The cord is not to charge, the cord is what allows the projector to function. So you must keep the cord plugged in the entire time the projector is on. Do not make the mistake of thinking its “charging” and then unplug it because it won’t function. The projector itself has an on & off button at the back and other buttons (in the front) so you can use the remote with it or manually change settings on the projector directly. I highly recommend it! You may also put a song on repeat by pressing on the repeat button for a couple seconds. Do not immediately lift your finger. Having said that, I am very satisfied with it and so are my children. No more being scared of the dark. This is so much better and soothing than a regular extremely bright lamp. ... show more

This is my second attempt to leave an honest review. I purchased this projection lamp as a Valentine's Day gift. It arrived in time, but did not perform to my expectations based on the product reviews, and I did not have time to purchase a replacement gift. The music feature did not work. I check the SIMs card and it was unformatted and empty. A weird noise is evident when using the rotating feature. Projection is limited to immediately above the machine and it's blurry. Remote worked sporadically. Must insert batteries (not included) and therefore, the machine does not hold a charge. It comes with a USB cord, but you must supply the plug if you want to plug into an outlet. There's a blinding white light when projecting, seems like it could be dangerous for young eyes. I was offered Amazon gift card in exchange for 5 stars and positive review. Buyers have the right to know this information when reading all the exceptional 5-star reviews. ... show more
