    • Phenomenal grip, semi-squishy bumpers.
These grips are stellar. The only reason they got a 4 out of me rather than a 5 is because of the trigger buttons. They are not the most tactile, specifically while playing smash bros and trying to shield/ throw enemies. The way the triggers move on the accessory makes it harder to press depending on your grip; the further out towards the edge your fingers are, the harder it is to press in. Going to the farthest edge will literally do nothing. BUT!!! Whenever I put my joycons in these I know they will be secure and safe (you can feel how sturdy they actually are), and the grip itself is phenomenal for big hands like my own. Great access to all buttons without readjusting grip, and it feels natural; like joycons were made for these things. ... show more

Easy to put Joy-Con controllers in and take out. I like the cut-out in back which allows controllers to be pushed out easily. Shoulder buttons are spring loaded and hinged at the outer side with a plastic peg on the inner side of the button directly pushing on the Joy-Con buttons underneath. So no spongy feel like mentioned on other controller grip kits. Shoulder buttons are raised higher on the inner side (opposite of some other brands), where you need to push. Note that if you push the outer sides, the button won't depress since that is where the hinge is. Also, note that there is a very very slight gap between the plastic peg and the Joy-Con button at rest, so when you press slowly and lightly you can feel the peg make contact with the Joy-Con button underneath first before the Joy-Con button gets pressed to get action, like for grab or shield on Super Smash Bros Ultimate. I have huge man hands. My daughter has tiny hands. They work well with both and they're comfortable. Not to much travel on the bumpers on top so they feel very responsive. I also really like the window on the bottom that allows you to easily pop out the joycon.

Using the joycons without a grip is awful. These grips are amazing, they feel very very good. I have large hands, and they fit me correctly. One of the grips presses the shoulder buttons easier than the other, but that's not a big deal actually.

Everything about the product is great, quality is great the design is great.. the only thing i have trouble sometimes with is the response when pushing the top buttons. Sometimes you have to push firmly in order for the remote to respond. other than that love it
