I wanted black walls but I didn't want to deal with the headache of painting my walls black. So I opted for this, in the picture you are looking at 12 rolls of this contact paper and I still have the rest of the room to do. I bought this as a cheap way to upscale our kitchen back splash. It definitely freshened up the space. There are just a few spots where I got frustrated and didn't line up the pattern just right. It is relatively easy to adjust and if you have a stiff card to smooth out bubbles as you go it looks nice. It's got a nice texture on it, very easy to work with I purchased an exacto knife and large squeegee as well. With a little bit of time and patience you would be as pleasently surprised as I was. The stuff sticks well enough and comes off easily when you a mistake and it's very forgiving. In fact with the black color I've made a bunch of mistakes and was able to correct and have them be completely unnoticeable. The paper really dressed up my room and it was great priced. It took us 3 days to do 3 400 inch rolls. It took 2 of us and didn't want to get frustrated so we took our time. It is not a straight match. If you look at my pics there is a row of bigger dots that really throw off the line up and wastes a lot of paper. I purchased 3 rolls just in case and glad I did. You guys!!!!! Buy this now!!!! I’ve put up peel and stick paper several times and this was by far the easiest and most forgiving product I’ve used. It has good adhesion, but it does seem like it makes surfaces sticky, if you plan to remove it for an apartment or something, this may not be the greatest. The quality is decent, it’s definitely good for the price! It does tear relatively easy, so you can’t man handle it like you would with a higher quality, thicker paper. It wouldn’t be great to cover another wallpaper, you’ll be able to see through it. I was applying it to previously papered walls that had been painted white so it wasn’t an issue. I used 3 rolls for 110 sf of wall space for under $65? Yes please! Pattern was easy to line up and would be pretty doable for a beginner. There isn’t a lot of waste because there’s not a repeat to line up, you just have to match up the vertical stripes! I did the whole bath in under 2 hours - start to finish, prep to clean up and some time to ogle. The paper is a little bit shiny but not terrible. I’ve been debating some $500 custom wallpaper for a few months and haven’t been able to convince myself to pull the trigger. I bought this as a quick fix for now but I think I may keep it! I’d definitely buy again and whoever said to use a black sharpie if there’s an area that didn’t line up perfectly is a GENIUS! ... show more

Excellent value and quality peel and stick wallpaper. I used it to line drawers and it is much easier to work with than contact paper. If I didn’t get it laid down straight I could easily remove and adjust it.

The paper is just not good quality. I’ve done several peel & stick wallpaper projects and think it’s one of the best inventions of all time. Other papers I’ve used have a slight elasticity to them, so it’s easy to remove, reattach and reposition. This one is almost brittle and tears easily - although where it did tear it was relatively easy to patch back together and you wouldn’t really notice it. Also, for my project (a short half-wall) I ended up tossing half the roll because of the repeat pattern and decided to scrap the paper altogether when I realized I’d need like 4+ additional rolls to do a small project. The other thing is that it was really hard to line up the pattern! It would match at the top and 2-3 feet lower, at the base, it would be off by 1/8-1/4 in! Again, because there’s not much elasticity, it’s much harder to make adjustments. On the plus side, it does cover up well. I have a century old home and can’t really remove the old wallpaper without destroying the base layer and literally having to go down to studs. So, that was definitely a plus!! ... show more

I’ll start with the pro’s: -Affordable- the price was right for the product! -Shipped Fast! -I love the new look the peel and stick wallpaper gave to my son’s nursery and closet. -Had a great adhesive on the back. I had to pull off and start again a few times and the paper is still stuck perfectly on my walls weeks later. Cons: -The pattern doesn’t match up. Drove me nuts. I ended up over lapping about a half inch and sometimes to an inch to try and fake a pattern. Then, I went back in with a black permanent marker and white out and fixed the lines so they matched up. You can’t really tell because of the design on the peel and stick wallpaper. -Thin material. When pulling certain areas off to realign the peel and stick wallpaper it would rip. So, if I didn’t pull slowly and delicately, it would rip. Had to take my time trimming in around the windows and trim. If I pulled too hard it would rip. -Creased easily. So, if you tried to install quickly *more than an inch at a time* it would wrinkle up and crease. I found a way around this problem. If you pull the backing off about an inch at a time and smooth it in the center and then the outer corners, you won’t have as many problems. It’s more time considering but it works. ... show more
