I really like the ease of setting this up and how well Alexa responds and th4e fact that they are so small you can put them unobtrusively anywhere. The sound, however, is sorely lacking and akin to an antique transistor radio that has zero equalizing control. Even with the bass all the way up and the treble all the way off, the sound is really poor quality. I think I read in one of the reviews that the sound was a lot like a Bose speaker. That could not be more incorrect. I just returned two Bose portable smart speakers for technical issues, but the sound coming from them was like being present in the room where the action was happening. The sound quality of these little Amazon speakers are a three out of ten. If your'e looking for communication and occasional music, these are ok, but if you are looking to enjoy a lot of music throughout your home, this is not what I would have chosen. They are inexpensive - you get what you pay for.

The sound quality compared to a google speaker is terrible. The voice is not clear. Furthermore , you must purchase Amazon's music program to have a continual stream of music. Google taps into u tube which can play for hours without paying a subscription. These truly are junk.
