It also has little tie holes so you can add a duvet cover over it and it won’t slip and slide and get all out of whack! I bought the duvet at the same time, since the color of the blanket is white, which I do love the pearly white, but I just wanted a pop of color for some occasions, I was just so happily surprised it had the little tie hooks on ever corner and side and top and bottom to hold in place!! This comforter is incredible. I went down the rabbit hole of comforters after overheating with my cotton one. Down stuffed comforters were a no for allergies and humane reasons (stripping feathers of off live ducks/geese while they scream). Cotton didn’t work great. Silk is light, allergen free, and anti microbial. This comforter has an excellent silk fill ratio. None of the “silk filled” with a “***50% cotton filled” hidden somewhere else. It feels silky. Luxurious and much much cooler, yet warmer than the cotton in cold weather. This is coming on trips with me. We got a wool one as well. The main difference is the weight. Go wool if you want a heavy weight. Otherwise silk holds its own with warmth. ... show more

I am so relieved to find out this comforter is very soft , not too thick and well made... and very warm! I wondered if it may not be warm enough, but it’s certainly warm! I like that it’s from natural silk too. I wanted a natural option alternative to goose down (though I have no problem with goose down, my hubby didn’t want it), so it’s a great alternative that satisfies us both.
