As long as it's well cared for, good silk will last forever. Not so for these. I noticed a pilling in one area fairly quickly and now, ~6 months later, it tore. The area in question is down by my feet on the fitted sheet. I don't put things on the bed down there, I don't sit there, and there's not much weight there. I followed washing instructions closely: gentle cycle and cold water. I didn't even spin cycle them and just hung them to dry on a well supported railing inside. I used Mulberry Park branded detergent too, just to be extra sure they were matching products. Extremely disappointed and a very sub-standard product at a high price. The whole point of paying this price for 22 momme silk is to have all the advantages of the silk fabric, which is more than just the feel of the sheets. ... show more

I bought these sheets in size king for a total of $712.31 in May of 2024. For the price point, I expected higher quality and less flaws right out of the bag. There are multiple snags and pulls in the fabric and especially at the seams, much more in quantity than the pictures I added to this review. I am very nervous about how it will do in the wash with these material flaws already present. I am still trying to decide if I want to process a refund or try again with another set. The third party sellers do not offer replacements just refunds so be aware of that. ... show more
