I first ordered this product over a year ago to protect my down comforter and give more color options. I ordered the solid sage green. It's stayed new this whole time over several washes and all of the ties are attached well. I ordered this grey one wanting more options and noted a few differences. The thickness of the material deceased between the grey and my old sage one. The new grey had one tie missing of a pair and one loosely attached. Itt still fits great and you cannot beat the price for a king size. However I'm sad to say either the manufacturing quality has dropped, or their may be quality differences between colors. ... show more

Very soft material, almost jersey like, but not quite. It fit my queen size down comforter perfectly. There are four tie downs, one on each corner. No stray threads or poor quality stitching. The buttons are solid and securely attached. It was not wrinkled out of the package. I prefer to wash before using. It came out of the dryer as if it has been pressed. This duvet set is gorgeous!! It is very soft. It is a soft cotton feel almost like a light flannel. I love that, unlike almost everything on Amazon recently, it was NOT vaccum sealed and completely wrinkled-I did NOT have to iron, steam, wash and dry several times etc. I love the buttons- they are the perfect touch and it has an extra button as well.
