Wash these sheets before using. My teen put them in her bed without washing them and woke up with itchy insect bites all over her body. If I could give these sheets 6 stars I would. I have a California king mattress that is 12in thick, plus a 4 inch mattress topper. I have gone through probably 10 sets of sheets in the last 5 years claiming ro be deep pocket. All of which still needed straps underneath to stay on. These sheets are chef's kiss. They cover the entire thing AND STAY ON!!! they are SO soft. A little on the thin side for my personal preference, but im willing to sacrifice that for them to stay on! The sheets are soft. The built-in pocket is thoughtful. I loved that it came with 4 pillowcases. There's a single line stitch about a 1/4" in around the edge that doesn't look nice or durable.
