I got this for martial arts. It fits well, and it has been tested. It works. It's not steel titanium, so I still felt pressure but not enough that it was damaging or hurt. The only downside is that the elastic stretches easily, so I have to adjust the thing often.

I am 5ft 7in 32in waist 150 lbs. The fit is real good and comfortable. I ordered the SMALL size. I read other reviews. Suggest you do the same. I can recommend this to anyone approximately of my size.
