Based on other reviews I ordered a size down to a 7 (normally an 8 in everything)and these are perfect! Even with thick comfy socks they fit spot on. I love that the shaft is tight around my calves, I cannot stand boots that aren’t fitted so again, perfect! Traction is awesome, made well and slightly heavy but not as heavy as others and definitely not so heavy you don’t want to bother with them. Getting them off is a bit challenging but other than that they are a great find, they’re warm, completely waterproof and exactly what I needed for this crazy winter we are having .

I'm 75 years old and my feet are always warm in the winter in these boots. I have mucked stalls in winter and shoveled snow, enjoying all of it the whole time because my feet are warm and I am not slipping at all. These boots have a great grip on them. They are so comfortable as well. They will last forever!

This is my second pair of Muck Boots, same style. My last pair lasted 4 years. I put them on one day and one seemed very slippery on the bottom, so I looked at it. It was all cracked. Being afraid to fall and break my neck, I decided it was time for a new pair! I started looking online. I looked everywhere, including the Muck website. I fell in love with the burgundy tops (my original ones were just all black) but they were pretty pricey on the Muck website. Of course I found them here cheaper. When I first got them I thought oh god they’re too tight, but now that I’ve worn them, they’re perfect. If you have even a slightly larger than average calf, I would suggest trying these on in person to make sure they fit you the way you want. The boots these replaced were a women’s 9, so that’s what I ordered. They are definitely true to size. If you think you’ll wear heavier socks more often than not, you may want to size up. I’ve worn thick socks with mine as they are, and I’m comfortable in them. My one and only complaint is they are difficult to drive in, as they are heavy. If you have trouble with heavy shoes/footwear, these may not be the best option for you. I live in a very cold climate, with harsh winters, lots of snow/ice. I’m happy to have heavier boots due to where I live (Adirondack Mountains of New York State). They are incredibly warm and comfortable. Also, the tread is awesome- much better design than my old ones. I feel very safe walking in them, even in snow/ice. The sidewalks where I live aren’t always plowed when I walk my dog early in the morning. She’s a puller, so having boots with a solid tread is an absolute must so that I am stable. I didn’t realize how worn the bottoms of my old ones were until I got the new ones! These rock. Great seller too- boots were shipped and delivered quickly (they arrived sooner than I was expecting). They came beautifully wrapped, in the original box. If you’re hesitant, don’t be!

These are great boots,-- they really are slip resistant, very warm even for 30 below zero weather when worn with wool socks, comfortable and supportive, true to size. I love them and can take long walks in them safely! They were a gift from my husband, he has a pair of men's and really likes his, too. Well worth the price, you get what you pay for. I have worn them one full winter season; they still look brand new. I think they will last a long time. A special feature also is that while they have good traction, they don't seem to pick up as much dirt, mud, etc. as some other brands do. We even wear ours in our sheep barn among the animals--straw bedding and they really do not track much into the house. Sheep and goats are clean animals-manure is pelleted and gets buried in the bedding so the boots rarely touch it--I would not wear these in a cow barn though, they are too nice.

These boots are perfect. I hike every day with 2 hunting dogs. I can walk through water and mud no problem. I hose them off when I get home. They are very comfortable. Sole is Vibram which is needed in the woods. Runs large. I take an 8.5 I ordered an 8 the fit is perfect. A definite must buy. They are a heavy boot which is what I wanted. Top of the boot hugs your leg which is also what I wanted.

Perfect for snowy days and a winter wonderland walk!

These boots are just what I was looking for. I love that they are as tall as they are. They definitely cover the issue of recess duties that involve trekking through almost knee-high snow at times. I got these boots because we are adding an outdoor program at school in which we will be outdoors for 3 hours at a time in all kinds of weather. I wanted something that would keep me dry and warm. (I'm such a wuss!) I was looking for something that didn't have the "handles" on the sides that some boots have. I could imagine snow getting in them easily. My feet get cold quickly so I was hoping these would keep me warm. I was a little disappointed that I had to end up using the Toasty Toes, but the toe area did provide enough room for me to use them comfortably. The calves do fit snug, but not too snug for me. If you have large claves these are probably not the ones for you. They definitely keep my legs warm! Another teacher at our school saw my boots and loved them so much she ran out and bought the same pair. I'm very happy with the purchase and highly recommend them despite being a bit on the pricey side.
