I ended up returning these, because I wasn’t going to be using them often enough for the price to be reasonable, but they were incredibly comfortable and seem to be of high-quality. The fit was true to size and these were definitely waterproof. Originally, I was going to be volunteering to take care of horses and being able to rinse off anything you’re stepping in in the barn is hugely important. If you’re looking for a boot for any kind of barn, gardening or muddy outdoor situation, these would work perfectly. They might end up being a bit warm to wear in the summer months, but overall, I think they look fairly stylish for a muck boot.

I actually have two pairs of these boots and am a big fan. I bought the first pair to use when volunteering at a wildlife rehab center where we are required to use non-slip boots. These are a perfect option because they are easy to sanitize, protect your feet from the elements (and poop), and have the added bonus of not being so tall that you get the top edge digging into your shins. My pair probably has 500+ hours of use and they still look and function almost like new (watertight and not smelly but definitely less shiny than when first purchased). I loved my “gross” pair so much that I decided to order a second one for use at home. They are perfect for wet days and super easy to slide on. I saw on other reviews that people sized down in these but I knew I’d probably wear them with thick socks and I also don’t really think my rain boots need to fit my feet perfectly so I ordered my regular shoe size. They fit great (maybe a tad big if I wear tighter athletic socks) but, again, I don’t need my rain boots to be skintight. Even my husband (who would usually never order shoes from Amazon) commented the other day that he was jealous of my boots and was thinking of ordering a men’s pair. So if you’re looking for a well-made pair of waterproof boots these are a great choice. (Two side notes: 1.) The inside is not waterproof. So if you, like me, make the mistake of wearing them at the beach and accidentally stepping into water higher than your ankles, the inside of your shoe will get wet and you might want to remove the foot pad and let it dry or at least turn your boots upside down as they dry out. 2.) I have high aches and the arch support isn’t amazing. For my home pair I don’t really care because I rarely wear them for long stretches but for my volunteer pair—where I’m often on my feet for 8+ hours—I did add some Dr. Scholl’s inserts.).

These are comfortable and look nice. The insert seems like memory foam which is nice. They dont feel too big to me like many reviews say. I wear an 8.5 in tennis shoes and often wear an 8 in boots. This was the correct size for these boots. However, I have narrow feet and the heel box is too wide. When I take a step, my foot slides right up even with thicker socks. Additionally, the toe box is a great width, however the 'height' of the toe box is too small, no room to move your toes up and down and feels like the big toe is 'against the boot's ceiling' which isn't comfortable. Really like the boots, just won't work for me. Update: I got stick on heel inserts so now the boot doesn't slide. Turns out, they are now quite comfortable and perfect for my needs. I will say, if I am sedentary with them on, they make my feet hot.

I have two pairs of these boots now. The style and color are awesome. I wear this for three seasons and nearly every day. The toebox is a little low and small, so my toes don't have as much space to be comfortable. I wear thinner socks to keep space optimal for wear and really do adore these shoes. I have many pairs of shoes and boots, but these are my favorite- whether walking the dog, working at the farm, at my day job, out and about, rain or shine. I actually wore them most of summer as well due to the amount of rain we get (and despite the hot temps).
