I was trying to figure out what boots would be excellent for working in the muck of Georgia/Tennessee in the winter, and these fit the bill. They are like having a wet suit on your feet. My feet never get cold or too hot in these, they stay room temperature. We'll see how long they last. Decent traction on the bottom also. I wear a size 14 and it fits perfect. Very comfortable, I can wear them all day. I had some real nice hiking boots I had bought for 90$ to wear in the cold weather, but they are just too nice to wear into the muck. I got these on sale. I have always have the arctics and used them for years. They do clearly say arctic excursion in the description, so I knew they wouldn’t be the same. However these in my opinion are not even close to the same quality. I would not want to go ice fishing or be out in cold weather with these. They are fine for cooler weather, but I don’t understand buy arctic is in the name. I bought these for $99 for my son. It doesn’t get cold while playing Xbox inside the house, so I am sure he will be fine with these. ... show more

I wear a women's 11 wide, so I ordered a size 12 in men's just to be safe. It is a little big, but I can wear thicker socks with it and make up the difference. Even with a thin pair of socks, I traipsed through five inches of snow and never once had problems. They kept my feet warm, but not hot. Definitely pleased with my purchase. ... show more

Bought these boots because the reviews said they were great. Only had them about 2 months and they are warm but the bottoms are peeling off. Would not recommend these boots unless your are wearing them for in home use.

    • Super warm but not enough support for constant wear
The 12-12.5 was a little too small for my son who usually wears a 12 wide. The 13-13.5 work perfectly for him. He reports they are very warm and comfortable for a few hours but lack the support to wear constantly. He’s a yearround marine mechanic so he has to wear them most of the time in winter since he works outside a lot. He’s looking for orthotics that will fit and provide support because he really likes them. ... show more

I bought 3 pairs of these one for son, hubby and myself. We all agree in 35-40 degrees your toes get cold. I believe it is false advertisement and misleading calling the Artic wear. I have bought in past and feet stayed cozy warm so they have changed the technology. Really to bad
