Description

With their great looks and durable design, Muck Arctic Adventure Tall Rubber Women's Winter Boots are a fashionable and functional cold-weather choice. Featuring a 5 mm neoprene bootie, these women's snow boots adjust to the contours and movements of your feet while absorbing impacts with every step. An EVA midsole adds even more cushioning for all-day comfort during longer treks. Comfort rated from -20 °F (-30 °C) to 50 °F (10 °C), these insulated boots have a soft fleece lining to keep feet warm and dry even in extreme weather conditions. The lightweight rubber outsole grips onto slippery surfaces to prevent slips and falls. The design of these women's winter boots is easy to match with any outfit or outerwear. The story began in 1999 with the sole purpose of building the most comfortable, high performance footwear on the market. The need for a more comfortable boot for use in messy and tough conditions led to the design of The Original Muck Boot Company brand footwear. Every boot in the line is expected to deliver the same 100% waterproof quality and comfort that inspired the original footwear. In just a few years, the line has grown to more than 20 styles, all designed to tackle tough conditions in agriculture, lawn and garden, outdoor sporting, equine, and pet care. Today, the Muck Boot brand defines a standard of comfort and quality that goes beyond the expectations of customers around the country.

  • Best boots ever! (Almost--update)
Size: 9 Color: Black
Update: I ordered these boots in September 2023 and it's now September 2025. These boots keep my feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and are really comfortable to wear, and I wear them for hours every day as I take care of my horses and my farm-ette. But the soles have separated from the boot (see pic) and now my feet are constantly wet. In spite of that, I'm ordering another pair to replace the old boots because they are comfortable to wear and keep my feet warm in the cold and cool in the heat. Maybe this pair won't have the separation problem. But if this happens again, I may need to consider looking for different boots. But what works out to $40/year, maybe a 2-year lifespan isn't that bad. I still recommend them because until they separated, they were great boots. Update: They keep my feet WARM in freezing (and below freezing) temps, better than winter boots. I love these boots. Will definitely get another pair as backup. I added a partial insert for arch support and these are pretty flat. But other than that, they fit well and are reasonably comfortable. With horses, I'm in these for many hours during the day and so far it's all good. They aren't very heavy so easy to walk distances in and they hug my calves so stuff (like hay) doesn't fall into them. Will see how warm they are in the winter. ... show more

  • Best purchase I've made in ages. So, so worth it!
Size: 6 Color: Black
These boots are amazing. I got them on a great sale. My only complaint is against the seller. These were supposed to be the Tall Snow Boots and they were the shorter version. I still kept them and I actually like the shorter height. More versatile. I have used them for so many things and they are comfortable and warm and waterproof. I have used them sledding for hours. I went winter camping in them. I got on walks in the forest with my dog in rain and snow and my feet are warm and dry and comfy. If I had gotten the taller ones, I don't think I'd be able to use them for as many things like for sledding. I have noticed after wearing them for over a month, they do stretch out a bit, but are still fine. They are easy to put on and pull off and easy to clean. They are fabulous and worth the money. Even though I'm bugged that the description said they were tall and I paid for the tall and got the shorter ones, in the end I'm glad I got the shorter ones. I've worn them a ton this winter and they are my go to boots. I've also used them helping friends at their farm and they are great when working in the muck with goats, pigs, and chickens. Amazing boots! ... show more

  • Great Boots
Size: 8 Color: Black
Terribly pleased with these boots. Everybody in northern MN has a pair and after reading reviews, was a little leery. However, disagree with most negative reviews. I wear a ladies 7.5 and ordered a size 8. I found them a perfect fit even with thick wool socks. They are loose enuff at the top so that I don’t fight to stuff regular pants into. I can toe them off from the back even tho I ordered a boot jack after reading reviews, and hardly ever use it. They are warm except weirdly my foot does get cold “across the top.” I have high arches but have been wearing them comfortably without any support. Super impressed with performance at temps 0 to -15 and great in snow, feel secure with no slipping on ice. Plus they look great if you’re a boot lover. Glad I spent the money and they were 30% less than an in-store price. ... show more

  • Awesome quality
Size: 8 Color: Black
Always wanted Muck boots and with this price, I couldn’t pass up. I had to size down on these. I normally wear a size 9 and had to return and get a size 8. For perfect, keep my feet warm and dry.

  • All I want in a snowboot with one reservation
Size: 9 Color: Black
SIZE/FIT: I wear a woman's 9.5 M. Ordered a 9/41 figuring that with Prime, I could exchange them for a size10 if necessary. For boots, Mackboots recommends ordering the size one wears in an athletic shoe which is a 10 for me. But since these boots are made to fit women's feet, I surmised that this rec applies to their unisex boots. I didn't want a loose-fitting boot and having to rely on heavy wool socks to make fit comfortable. One foot is a 1/2 size longer than the other (true of most people) : with a lightweight wool sock, the right boot fits my longer foot well, almost snug . The smaller left foot has plenty of room--it would be wallowing in a 10. Even with a heavy wool pr of socks, the boots' fit felt comfortable. The women's boots conform to one's feet, so feel good on....not clunky nor galoshy. I wanted a 16" hi cut boot (knee high) to keep legs warm and snow out. TIP: I find the boot is easier to put on if top is folded down, for once on, you can up-roll the top over your pant leg and don't need to scrunch pant legs into boot tops. Easier to pull off with top folded down too. TEMPERATURE COMFORT: Received boots just in time to put to a test: 4" of fresh snow on steep cement driveway; temp: 31º real feel 17º. Put boots on over smartwool socks. Shoveled for 1.5 hrs and stood talking to neighbor for an extra 45 mins--feet dry and comfy. Muckboots claims the Arctic Adventure keeps feet comfortable to -20º so I won't need a heavier wool sock to stay warm. RESERVATION: I wish the soles were a little more luggy, aggressive on snow than the "girlie" sole these boots have. What were they thinking? A snowboot needs to grip the snow be you male or female!....these soles barely do so. (The Arctic Sport soles are definitely luggy, but to my eye the boot design itself looks clunky--the Adventure is more sculpted and slender looking. A form over function decision which I can work around.) Surely Muckboots could design a non-clunky looking more aggressive sole. I couldn't really trust the Adventure boots not to slip, especially on a snowy incline. I hadn't wanted to put on my IceTrekkers Diamond Grip cleats--my work around--cuz snow wasn't packed, but next time I will to really feel slip/fall-proof while shoveling. I can feel the cleats' elastic grip through the soft toe area of the boot, but it's not bothersome. ... show more
