I had no problem with this product. It was a good value for the money. But it arrived more than a week later than initially promised. Packaging was acceptable but not great. The cardboard box it came in was broken, probably because it's hard to package a sharp, heavy metal object like this without spending a lot of money. But because it is such a sturdy product, the relatively flimsy and broken packaging doesn't make a material difference. As long as it retained its shipping label, even delivering the product without any packaging at all would have been serviceable. It may just be the condition of my topsoil where I live but I had an exceptionally difficult time driving these into the ground. Many of them dented quite a good deal and paint chipped off of them. Not sure how long until they start rusting like crazy. Felt like I did something wrong and it was my fault they dented so I just kept them and installed the dog fencing anyway. (The plastic fencing will work somewhat but I predict it won't last more than a couple years. My daughter will leave by then with her dog so no biggie here. It was a temporary fix for a temporary situation. Not sure what each person expects so I figured my personal experience may help gauge that for someone. ... show more

These posts must be made of some kind of alloy, because they bend (and break) quite easily. If you drive one off the mark, be prepaired to dig it out carefully- if you try to rock or wriggle it free, it will just bend. These will probably work great for a simple garden barrier, but that's about it.
