Monitor is expensive. But man the clarity and quality is unbelievable. I have this going to a NVIDIA 5090 GPU and its truly marvelous. 1 Thing to note is make sure you set the monitor on your computer to use 240hz. It natively tries to use 60hz unless you make the change.

Coming from using VA monitors, but OLED TVs I had high hopes for this MSI OLED. First off this is a glossy monitor though the anti-glare coating is better than I expected very little reflected light in a standard lit room. It won't handle a lot of a direct sunlight well though so keep that in mind when ordering. 240hz seemed overkill at first but it's pretty noticeable compared to the 165hz on many of the cheaper OLED panels. It's plenty fast for FPS gaming but you'd probably be better off with a 27" 400hz+ monitor for that. This one really shines with Media and immersive single player games where the visuals trump refresh rate.

MSI MAG 321UPX QD-OLED, 32" Flickering horizontal lines. This is a known issue on these monitors. Right out of the box, flickering lights. unrelated to software updates, DP, or settings. Happens everyday, some days its worse primarely on the buttom of the screen sometimes other places. The only way to temporary fix it is hard reset. If it wasn't for this issues its an amazing monitor. its feels quality, beautiful display, great price $750 on black friday. I wish it worked because everything about it is great except it doesnt work as it should.

I was on the fence about purchasing this monitor for a little over 2 months. If you're looking to upgrade to OLED from an IPS, this monitor is a fantastic choice. To sort a little confusion between the models, there is a URX123 and a UPX123, I purchased the UPX (cheaper) model. The only main differences that I can see are the LED backlights (which add ambient lighting behind the monitor) and additional USB-C and USB-A ports. Otherwise these models are identical spec wise and I believe that the UPX model may actually have lower power consumption. Contrary to what I read in the comments, MSI DOES allow this monitor to be firmware updated now. Most of the stock has been updated to the most current version of the firmware and mine did not need to be flashed to the new version and was fully updated upon receipt. The panel itself is easy enough to setup. If you're new to this, make sure you enable adaptive sync to get the full refresh rate active at 4k. My one and only complaint with this monitor is when using the VRR on some games with locked refresh rates, I have experienced some flickering with VRR on and had to turn it off to make it stop happening. I would also recommend a locking DP cable if you have articulating monitor arms, the port appears to be a little sensitive to the cable moving at all. The locking DP cable solved this issue for me. The monitor is plenty bright, HDR is fantastic and the colors pop. This monitor is awesome.

The MSI 321UPX 4K OLED Gaming Monitor is a total game-changer. Upgrading from a 60Hz 4K IPS monitor, the difference in both competitive and single-player games is dramatic. The 240Hz refresh rate makes gameplay incredibly smooth, and the inky blacks from the OLED display add amazing depth and detail. I chose this monitor for its 4K resolution, fast refresh rate, and OLED tech, and it’s exceeded my expectations. The colors are vibrant, the response time is super fast, and it’s perfect for all types of games. I’m excited to play upcoming titles, especially the new Monster Hunter!
