I built a custom desktop PC with MSI parts and it runs like a dream, but I needed something mobile too so I got this MSI laptop and it does what I need it to do. It's not as good as a top-of-the-line desktop, but it performs as well as needed for anyone who wants to game on the move. I'd recommend MSI over any other brand at this point. ... show more

I purchased an MSI laptop computer for my son who was starting college. The seller marketed this computer as "new". The "new" computer came with a 12 month warranty. After 6 months, my son was in class and the computer overheated while he was using it for no reason. I first contacted the manufacturer, MSI, who traced the computer through the serial number and informed me that the third party seller, COSMOS TECH had sold me a computer that was not if fact new, thereby invalidating the factory warranty. I contacted both Amazon and COSMOS TECH for a refund or a resolution since the third party seller had lied about the computer being new and I had no warranty. Both COSMOS TECH and AMAZON A-Z warranty refused to do anything about this even though I filed a claim two different times. I tried to go through my financial institution to file a fraud claim but they only file these 90 days after an incident. I am VERY unhappy with Amazon and will never purchase anything from COSMOS TECH or any large purchase from Amazon again. ... show more
