I ordered a pair of valances for the bedroom and was so impressed with the quality and the price that I ordered and replaced what I had in my living room with a pair as well. I have plantation shutters on all of my windows so these went perfectly with the theme. Not sure why I was asked to rate for sheerness or wrinkle free. They are not sheer at all but they weren't advertised as sheer so the rating is irrelevant. Also they were not wrinkle free, but ironed easily and beautifully, not an issue at all. I purchased eight of these for a remake project after we installed new wiindows and old valances did not fit. I was VERY unhappy to discover inconsistencies in the way the valances were made. Five had a four inch header (rings), three headers were an inch shorter. This caused a problem with the measurements I was using and led to lots of frustration. They were supposed to be 17" tall. I only had one side that was 17". The other sides all ranged from 17-1/4" to 18". With 4 windows I either had to re-hem them or move placement to other windows so the difference wasn't as obvious. I didn't want to return and start over so I changed the placement on the windows.
