I am very picky (apparently) when it comes to curtains. It took me a month browsing around Amazon to find the pair of curtains I really liked. I love that they’re neutral with a design. They are definitely 80-90% blackout and definitely insulate the room from the hot summer sun. The quality is great for the price and soft for having texture. I haven’t had to clean them quite yet, but the design makes it so it’s very difficult to see any dirt or stains if there are any. With two cats, I cannot locate any hair or other mischievous cat markings on here if there are any. ... show more

The curtains are beautiful and good quality. They are pretty sheer, but that wasn't an issue for me as the sun rises on the opposite side of the house. Very pretty but not blackouts. They are sheer and allow light through. I can see headlights from passing cars through them and the sunlight. If you want blackouts these are not that.
