I decided to bite the bullet and try my hand at sublimating mugs. I purchased a Bettersub glass/shot/mug press and these mugs. I am printing Hipoo paper and inks on an Epson 2803 reserved ONLY for sublimation use. I print at Premium Paper Presentation Matte, Hight quality, NOT Bidirectional Printing, and Mirror Image. My mug press is set for 465°F for 165 seconds, and that seems to be the sweet spot for me (great transfer, no scorching). I remove the paper as soon as possible after printing, some people said it would blur if you leave it on. Also, it absolutely took me three mugs to get to these values (really faded image, scorched image, then... perfect image). I am learning how to better position the decal so it's not crooked or too high/low on the mug, but I'll get there. Each mug is shipped in a plastic "bag" in a styrofoam box so it is very securely packaged. The design is classic and they feel comfortable in the hand. I haven't gotten a broken mug... yet. I will definitely be ordering more, I feel that they are a great value. As you can see from the attached photo, the brilliant white background is the perfect color. ... show more

i did 6 cups and they worked great, went to do 12 more and they will not take the ink. :-( even tried different ways of doing the design. would buy again product not consistently is the issue.

The actual product was fine .Sublimation good. I understand keeping tge mugs secure but I wish it didn't use so much Styrofoam. Eco-friendly option would of been better.
