I recently moved to a location that drastically changed the amount of closet space I had. I needed to find a way to hang my dozens of Hawiian Shirts and Flannels in only 18" depth of space. Each one of these hooks fit 5 articles of clothing, while a miracle did not happen, I can actually move my clothes around in my closet now. Yes they do feel "flimsy" but that is a good thing when you have it loaded up. Do this: Put it up with both hooks on the rod in your closet or wherever. Then load it up, pull one hook off and guide it down. Stand back a second and look at it. Then lift the dropped hook back up to the rod. Do that a couple times. Move it around. That's when I noticed that this is that way for a reason. They hold a ton of weight and yes it does save a ton of space. Now if you're putting nothing but coats on one then they will be wide no matter what but shirts and sweaters, holy smokes. There is a reason I gave it 5 stars: It was exactly what it said it was. I did what it said very easily. I ended up getting more. I will still end up getting more soon. They came in a small package so I like that and again, I love them. They really did save so much space ... show more

I'm comparing these to an old set that was made of a more rubbery, sturdy plastic. One of the hooks popped out of these, but was easily put back in. They just feel more fragile. They work well though so far.

I got these my freshmen year of college because our closet space was very limited and I am still using them in my apartment now. Eventho there was a size upgrade these are so helpful for maximizing space and they’re sturdy too. The hangers arent the easiest to get in and out but in a way I like that more because instead of taking hangers out and leaving them out around my toom or in the laundry pile they stay in my closet which is nice ... show more
