It seems like there are two camps of reviews about this product. 1) It is fantastic and everything they ever wanted. 2) It's difficult to assemble and the boards warp and pop off. I believe the difference in opinion comes down to the care taken when assembling. Like any "put-together" furniture you have to leave things loose until the very end, then tighten them up once things are aligned. In addition to that, the boards on top really do want to warp. Mine have held strong on the screws but I can see an ever-so-slight cup to them on both ends. They haven't pulled off the screws yet and I think that comes down to one important factor - lining up the pre-drilled screw holes before screwing on the boards. I know that seems like a really straight forward thing but it is harder than you think and I would bet money some of the previous reviewers weren't as precise about this as they could have been. The horizontal rails, screws, and boards are all black which makes lining up the screws in the holes even more difficult. On top of that, the screws are self-tapping so if you start a bit off center (or not even on the hole) it will still make its own hole. If that hole is close to the pre-drilled one you have a recipe for disaster as it will eventually give way and pull out. I bought two of these and have them one the sides of my hot tub. They are in the sun all day every day (southern exposure) and the boards haven't popped off after the three months I've had them. I gave four stars because of the clear issues with the boards wanting to warp and the fact that the tables themselves are aluminum and composite to hold up to weather but the hardware isn't of the same caliber. My hot tub is salt water and within weeks the bolts were beginning to rust. We will have to see how they hold up over time.

I was looking for a table I could use as a TV stand in my patio area that will withstand the high temperatures and humidity. I like the look of the metal table legs and black, wood composite top; and it fits perfect in my area. The assembly was quick and easy. The instructions are detailed. My only disappointment was that the three black, wood composite boards that make up the table top have some type of residue on them. I tried to get it off, but I can’t remove it. It isn’t so terrible that I will return it, but I wish it looked new, and not used or marred. I took one star off of my rating because of the damaged top pieces. Overall I would recommend this table.

The end result is exactly what I needed, but the table loses a star for assembly. The reviewers who said it was easy – I want to know what they were smoking! Instructions were mostly clear, but it was tough to line up some of the pieces and get the screws in place. In some cases, I needed to shine a flashlight inside a screw hole to see the pilot hole on the second piece. That’s not easily done. I bruised my thumb getting some of the screws in place, and I needed a rubber mallet to get a couple of pieces snugly together. Needless to say, I was glad to have a helper. One extra of every hardware piece was provided, which was good, because one of the screws had a threading issue. I do appreciate the fact that all pieces were clearly labeled. Once assembled, the table looks great on my patio. It’s very sturdy, and I have not had the warping issue that some other reviewers have mentioned. I got this table to hold a couple of planters up and out of reach of groundhogs. It’s also holding a butterfly tent. It looks very nice, and definitely keeps my plants out of the reach of critters. I’ve had it set up for 10 days now, and it has already survived a couple of heavy rainstorms without any ill effects.

**Edit/Update** The seller reached out to me and sent a replacement. We will use extra caution when putting it together and make sure it is in the shade at all times. We bought this table to use as a counter and eating space on our deck. It was only outside for a week (only receiving about 3 hours of sun per day) and the boards warped, causing the screws to fall out. When I attempted to contact the seller, it took me to a link for coffee products. I would like a refund or replacement, as this was a waste of money.

Update: The company reached out after review and were amazing so I gave 2 additional stars. I should have reached out to them first vs Amazon customer service. I put it together the day I got it. secured the top with the screws provided and came home to the screws on the ground and each slat was bending upwards. I contacted Amazon and they are sending me a replacement so I don’t have to send this one back, but of course according to the other reviews the top probably won’t hold up. Once you attach the slats the first time and they pop out, you can’t get them to secure again. There has to be a better solution. Im disappointed and now once I receive the replacement, I will have two tables with no top.

The boards are poor quality. Can't take this sticky residue off of it. One board the screws stripped so I can't even secure that one to the table! I demand new boards and a refund! It's ridiculous to think that you can put it back into its original packaging to return it when the packaging itself is flimsy so they make it impossible to return it.... UPDATE: 2 more stars for thr great customer service. I did contact the manufacturer and they did respond quickly. They offered to give me a brand new table cause they couldn't just send me the boards (I really don't understand that but whatever) I received my new table and it did have some of the same issues on the boards, but passable. It will have to suffice.... again their customer service was very reliable and kind. They did give me a $30 dollar refund as well.
