This desk arrived with the box pretty scuffed and beat up but all contents inside were so well packaged and protected there wasn't a scratch on it. It took quite a while to assemble as I had to get creative while building it in a very tiny office space beneath my custom built loft bed. This desk came out great in the end and fitting perfectly for my needs! Everything lined up wonderfully, though some screws required some wiggling to get exactly right. The hardest part was just spinning and rotating everything to get it in the right spot in my office. But if you have more room and an actual open space this desk should be a breeze to assemble. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Tip if you have to make it work in a tiny space like me. Build it all upside down then remove one leg and bottom support bar before flipping and rotating it and then reassembling the leg and bottom bar. It helps if you have an extra pair of hands but I'm a rather small woman and managed it on my own with determination and enough swearing. In the end it's very sturdy and very pretty and well made! Great quality and looks way more expensive in person than it actually was. So happy I made the leap to get it. ... show more

i absolutely love these desks! wonderful value for the price. i purchased 2 of them and put them together like a U shape i saw in the advertisement. i have my work set up (i work from home) on one side and my personal stuff on the other side (im also a wife and mother of four...so work never stops!). they have plenty of space and look nice and classy, without costs a ridiculous amount of money. they were easy to assemble and light enough for me to flip them over and move them by myself. so far they seem sturdy. the bars are assembled all metal, so should stay nice and secure. i highly recommend! and if you dont mind spending the extra $100 to get the second one, i highly recommend putting them in the U if you work from home! ... show more

Honestly amazing! I live in a studio converted into a somewhat small 1/1. It fit PERFECTLY next to my bed it’s great for small spaces. Only recommendation I can make (to save you the struggle and frustration tears 😅) assemble the desk INSIDE the room you intend to place it in. It might be common sense but despite knowing the desktop would fit in the door frame, I didn’t take into account the slight angle the legs were at, not allowing the desk to fit, therefor forcing me to disassemble and reassemble it in the room. Fortunately, it’s SUPER easy to assemble. Im a woman that lives alone and did this with no help. Only thing I think was a bit hard was lifting the desk off the floor after built and Turing it into a standing position since it was pretty heavy. TLDR: Amazing desk!!! Definitely buy. ... show more

    • Minimalist Design and Easy to Assemble

I was using a folding table for my desk until I could find what I wanted for my large tower computer and two monitors. Of course, the tower would sit on the floor and I wanted room for the keyboard, mouse and space for temporary items such as a notepad, coffee cup or dish. I decided on this Corner Computer Desk due to the minimalist design with full use of a corner space. Cons 1. Not really a con but a preference that the longer side of the desk be maybe 6" wider for more surface space. I have two 21 1/2" monitors and I feel a little too close to them and not much surface area for more than a keyboard and mouse. I'm going to add a slide underneath tray for the keyboard and mouse. 2. Desk shelf needs to be redesigned to add more stability. I'm not afraid that a small monitor or laptop would fall from it but it is pretty wobbly. 3. The surface is a fingerprint magnet nightmare. I got the black one and whenever I touch this desk I leave visible fingerprints that triggers my OCD. Also make sure you dust everything off before placing it on the desk. Pros 1. Very straight forward assembly with easy to follow instructions. I added a few Velcro strips along the way for cable management. 2. Sits very sturdy on hardwood floor, didn't have to adjust the feet at all to level just screwed them all the way in and when I flipped it over it was perfect. 3. Very good use of corner space and plenty of legroom 4. Fingerprints wipe off easily with a dry cloth. 5. Reversable so the longer surface can be assembled on either side. 6. Esthetically pleasing with a modern design. Summary Would prefer a wider surface area but with adding a keyboard drawer I feel it will meet my needs. A very sturdy design, with the exception of the shelf. Good use of corner space with plenty of legroom and a modern design. Very nice desk for the price and could be used for gaming, a home office, computer desk with writing space. I plan to use it for a computer desk for my main computer on the long side with space on the short side to experiment with installing alternate OS on older laptops.
