These skates are working out great for my 10 year old. They are comfy, and fit both our incredibly wide feet well. My only issue is that they came absolutely reeking of cigarette smoke. I've febreezed them multiple times, but they still stink, and now her pads, helmet, and skate bag also reek. I had multiple packages in the same delivery, and the skates are the only one that smelled, so it wasn't the Amazon driver. I have no idea why they stink so badly, but they smell like they were locked in an airtight chamber with a chain smoker for 5 years. They're 20 feet away from me dripping with lavender febreeze and I can still smell the stale cigarette smoke. It's making me reconsider buying a pair of Moxi or Riedell skates for myself because I can't deal with the smell. ... show more

Not only are these great for beginners but they're smooth enough for experienced skaters and well made. Skatepark would suggest the lolis or beach bunnies even for a bit more ankle support in the boot but they work for me in the skatepark great. I love these skates. 🛼 Just a classic roller skate and I'm very impressed I have wide azz feet and these don't squeeze. Size is true so don't go past your actual size. I'm between 8 and 9 I got 8 and plenty of toe space and width in the toe box. Def wanna get some guards for the toes these scratch easily. Can't think of a downside. Maybe the ball of the foot could have better padding but I just stick some Dr Scholl's in anyways. Compared to the VNLA parfaits I had these feel a bit smoother after adjusting bearings and trucks on both but the padding on these is better and the support on vnla for ankle is better. These are cost effective and worth the money to wear at the rink on the go or even in the skatepark. Have a nice time skating everyone 💕 ... show more

I rarely write reviews, but I thought this one would be helpful to possibly avoid wasting your time, money, and possibly deter any youth from wanting to skate. I purchased these on a whim. I recently picked up roller skating after several decades. I had gotten Chaya love is love skates, which had rainbows on them. My 8 year old loved them. When I came across these, there was one pair left. I thought Moxi is reputable and they are the right colors/ look my daughter would love. While waiting for them to come, I then tried researching these skates. I could not find one review or video on youth sizes or how youth girls felt about these. First thing I noticed how heavy they are. Also, do not purchase these or most skates without a skate tool on hand. I had to loosen every wheel. No biggie, unless you don’t have one on hand or don’t know how important this actually is. When my daughter tried them on, she was out of them within a few seconds. I got size 2 and she wears a size 2.5-3 street shoe for reference. Sizing is correct. This boot is just way too stiff and uncomfortable for kids, at least in my honest opinion. They really do need something that is going to bring them comfort , which is probably not going to be these. As for women thinking about buying these, they are really cute and decent enough quality. Just remember they are made in China, plastic/ stiff boot, and heavier. I don’t know if they break in or not after time. I’ve found a lot better skates for a little more then these that are cute and comfortable. Maybe Moxi will come out with a better skate for younger girls in the future. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Overall I like the skate. But when I checked the plates one of them was misaligned. Since I have to send it back anyway, I've decided to spend a little more money to try something different and more comfortable. I may beginner skater who is skated in rinks a few times. This is my first pair of skates I've bought for myself. Things I Like: I really love the design and overall aesthetic. That's what drove me to buy the skates. Moxie and rydell have made a quality skate for a low price. I didn't think I was going to like the wheels but I love the wheels. I love the adjustable toe stop. I don't think it's a run of the mill standard toe stop. I love that it came smelling like peppermint instead of plastic. Things I Dislike: Reading the reviews I knew the boot would be stiff but for me it was too painful. These Boots are like a 9 or 10/10 stiffness. The boot would probably break in a little bit over time but for me it's not worth the pain and uncertainty that it would ever give in completely. The boot is already wide but apparently I have extremely wide feet and was still getting pain in the toe box. I have a 262 mm foot so I ordered a size 9. I still had a lot of room and felt like they were too big even after putting my own insert into the boot. I'm a beginner skater so I don't know if this is normal but the sole of the boot concaves where the plate is mounted. I wish there was more padding inside. Since the toe stop is metric the nut is also metric. So make sure the skate tool will fit before you order it. ... show more

I love these skates. Wheels are great as well. The only thing I guess I gotta break them in bc it's very tough to tighten them, but that's no biggie I just put to socks on and call it a day... I love them regardless ☺️💗🤸🏾♀️🤗

So cute! Great for beginners. After reading reviews I went ahead and bought my regular shoe size 9 anyway. I wear thick socks and wish the skate had 1/2 sizes. My foot doesn’t slip around, but I think just a little less room would help. Idk if a whole size smaller would’ve been better as I wanted to get out there to skate and not return them. I ditched the wheels first thing. The wheels were fine, but I wanted light up wheels. The bearings had to go as well. Even though I loosen the wheel nuts as far as they could go, I still felt as though I couldn’t get enough speed. I also bought longer laces so the boot could be looser, but that might just be me. Took me a few months to break them in as I only go once a week, so they feel a lot better now versus the stiff out of the box feel. ... show more
