Most of the reviews are spot on. Boot is super stiff. But once the skate got warm, you can push the boot to your foot and it can be almost molded to your foot perfectly just tighten the laces as you do and it stays. I got an 8 and it was roomier usually I get a 7. I’d suggest, bending the whole boot around and it helps make it not so stiff also. And as you skate more and more it will become for flexible I’m sure. I wouldn’t recommend this skate to lil kids unless they just walk in them to get a feel for skates while you pull them lol. I don’t lace the hooks for more movement and squat to bend and stretch the boot helps a lot. Not sure how strong the hooks are and whether they can withstand the bending. But doing this made me happy knowing I can wear them. But there’s so much room for thick socks. Broke my foot back in august and after healing, my older new skates are way too tight and the pain was bad they were a size 7. But for a size 8, their spacious. SO MUCH padding in the boot especially around the ankles. This skate just needs some tough love to start. I may dismantle it to the boot and just beat it up some, cause the more I bended the boot the flexible it got. ... show more

They’re great quality skates, but they run huge. I ordered a 9 and I wear a 9 in women’s. These fit more like a 11 on me. At first I thought I accidentally ordered a men’s 9 even though the listing says it’s for women. I am exchanging them for a smaller size.

My niece loved them. I got some toe caps as was recommended. They are quite a stiff boot, and the trucks are also quite stiff and need to be adjusted. The wheel nuts also need to be adjusted right out of the box as they’re also on there right and they don’t spin really well that tight, and the ones that come with them are super sticky/soft and I recommend those for outdoor use. If you plan to go indoor with them get some Rivas or Fames to go on them. I’ll be getting some magic cushions to replace the cushions on them as she gets better on them. I will also be replacing the toe stops on them as they’re not the best for stopping either. ... show more

These skates are working out great for my 10 year old. They are comfy, and fit both our incredibly wide feet well. My only issue is that they came absolutely reeking of cigarette smoke. I've febreezed them multiple times, but they still stink, and now her pads, helmet, and skate bag also reek. I had multiple packages in the same delivery, and the skates are the only one that smelled, so it wasn't the Amazon driver. I have no idea why they stink so badly, but they smell like they were locked in an airtight chamber with a chain smoker for 5 years. They're 20 feet away from me dripping with lavender febreeze and I can still smell the stale cigarette smoke. It's making me reconsider buying a pair of Moxi or Riedell skates for myself because I can't deal with the smell. ... show more
