These Moxi folks nailed it. Even the box is super cute. I'm an old guy that bought it for his wife, got a pair for skates for myself too, and love the Nostalgia aspect of even the packaging. They are stiff, (you want them that way for support though) and she says that they feel great. Well done, well constructed, some of the best marketing I've seen on any product. Initially I was undecided on whether to size down due to most of the reviews telling people to size down when ordering. I chose to go with my true size 9 and glad I did! I have normal width feet and these skates feel snug with little wiggle room for my toes. Heads up though - there is a good wad of tissue jam packed inside the toe box of the boots. It took me a while to dig out all the tissue. These are well built skates and provide great support. They feel snug across the width of my foot but that will ease up once broken in. The boot seems pretty stiff at first but once these skates are broken in then it’s all good. The inside is lined well with some padding for comfort. I bought new bearings, Bont flat toe protector, different toe stops and better waxed laces also. I may upgrade the wheels eventually. I am very happy with my purchase and may update my review later once these are broken in. ... show more

I really liked these skates. I ended up going a size down (7) than what I usually wear, which is a size 8. I could actually fit the size 7, but I feel like you can just go with your regular size because of how stiff the boot is. It will indeed take some time to break in, but once they do, I can see myself enjoying these skates for a while. I changed out the wheels to the radar energy 57’s since the moxi wheels that they came with weren’t too bad but they were too gummy for my liking. I’ll put them back on when I’m roller skating on the road since they are great shock absorbers. Edit: I can conclude these are the best skates I’ve gotten and it didn’t take too long to break in. I have some impala skates but the beach bunnies have a lot more support, making skating a lot more safe and fun. I rarely actually fall that much in them and I can do a lot more in these than in my impalas (though I think they’re still good enough). ... show more

I love these skates!!! The color, comfort and quality is just right. These skates will last me for a while. You do have to break them in since they are a little tight when you first get them but after you skate in them for a while they get loose. It came with tie guards and a skate key.

They are super cute, pretty comfortable, and easy to take care of. However, the toe stops do not stay screwed in (a known problem with these skates), so you’re either constantly tightening them, or you have to glue them in place.
