The mirror, bracket and included screws for mounting were great. The little issue I experienced, I mounted it on a wall in the hall so that coming out the door I could see down the hallway. I needed to have a view to the left, but the mirror/bracket only allows very little movement to the left or right. I had to cut a piece of wood at a 45° angle to mount the bracket on in order to have enough adjustment.

When ordering, I did not realize that this was not a real mirror, however it still works as it should. It is easy to install and mounting hardware is included. It is very lightweight, but I'm not sure how this will hold up in an outdoor environment.

Ever since we got our two Alaskan Malamute pups and put up the fence in our Minneapolis backyard to let them go outside without leashes on, we've had one problem: we couldn't see part of the backyard space we created without going onto the back porch and leaning over the railing. This was especially problematic since in that blindspot is one of the two gates for the fence. "Bad planning" says you? Yes, yes it was. And the badness of that planning became even more apparent whenever we've had people out doing any kind of work on the house because they'll often leave that gate door open not realizing there are two dogs living here, and so we'll let the dogs into the backyard without realizing that fence gate is open and end up having to run after the adventurous malamute pup. Yes. That part is singular, because one of them is an absolute anxiety-stricken wreck and even when given the chance to go run off exploring, they opt instead to run inside and tattle on their sibling. For that, we love him. But anyways, the point is: this mirror has now eliminated that blindspot. Looking out from the kitchen window, we can see every spot in the backyard. We can tell if the gate fence is properly shut. We can see our anxiety pup pooping where he shouldn't be pooping. And, because we mounted it up on the corner of the garage, it's nice and out of the way. The dogs have nowhere left to hide. It also provides an added layer of security in that it's angled so we can see all the way to the street in the front of the house, so we have visibility of the entire south side of our home from the warmth and comfort of our kitchen. It's an unintentional added layer of security. We like it so much we've considered adding a second one to give us visibility along the northside of the house as well, but we'll see. ***Overall Value*** We can now see our dogs anywhere in the backyard from the warmth of our kitchen, which means when they want to spend hours playing outside in the winter we'll feel a bit more comfortable letting that happen without needing to keep a door open. And we can now check the mirror before letting them out, instead of having to push past them and go outside before them to check on the gate. It's a whole new peace of mind that I already really, really appreciate, and it only took installing a mirror on the corner of a garage. Peace of mind for $35 is a heckuva deal.
