Bought to give a bike I found on the side of the road a bit more height and weight carrying capacity. At 170 lbs the spring is maxed out and is now super bouncy. If you’re my weight or higher go for the 1000lb spring. Either way don’t expect any damping effect, I’d go with an air shock next time

Gained 1” of ride height and softer ride over OEM set up with 100lbs rider. Front and Rear of the bike is pretty much level loaded and unloaded no more rear squat.
