  • Game-Changer for MTB Suspension – Affordable, Tunable, and Built to Last!
Size: 265mm*550lbs
I’ve been ripping trails on my mountain bike for years, and upgrading to the MEROCA Adjustable Air Spring Coil has been one of my best decisions yet. Right from the unboxing, everything screams quality at a steal of a price – you won’t find this level of adjustability for under $100 anywhere else. The damping is spot-on and fully customizable via the air compression levels, letting me dial in the perfect balance for everything from flowy singletrack to chunky tech sections. It compresses smoothly under pedaling, absorbs impacts like a dream, and rebounds with just the right pop to keep me charging. Installation was a breeze – swapped it into my rear shock in under 30 minutes with basic tools, and the fitment is precise for most modern frames. The lightweight aluminum construction keeps things agile without sacrificing durability; it’s held up through muddy enduro stages and rocky descents without a hitch. At 550lbs spring rate, it’s plush enough for all-day comfort on my 180lb setup, but here’s my one wishlist item: MEROCA, if you’re listening, please drop heavier options like 700lbs or 1000lbs for us heavier riders tackling aggressive downhill lines. That would make it an absolute no-brainer for big-hit setups. Overall, this coil has transformed my bike’s feel – more confidence, less fatigue, and endless tweakability. If you’re on the fence, just hit “Buy Now” – you won’t regret it. Highly recommend for any trail or enduro enthusiast looking to level up without breaking the bank! 🚀 ... show more

  • Took a little finagling to get it to fit on a nexaglide.
Size: 210mm*550lbs
My bike recently took some damage in an accident with a motorcyclist (look twice save a life indeed) and I had to replace the front forks and rear shock since they took the brunt of the accidents force. This shock is somewhere around 1.5x the original. Everything is bigger and the piggyback air chamber is sort of difficult to work with on this bike. I technically installed this shock upside down and backwards to avoid slapping the reservoir on the bottom of the controller box. I'll eventually move the box back a few inches so I can install this in an orientation I like. Once it's installed you instantly feel the difference. I put over 800 miles on the bike with the original rear shock and over these last 100 150 miles or so the difference is night and day. I can't feel every bump anymore and I'm not as motivated to stand up in the areas with bad roads. Hopping a curb doesn't snap the back wheel up afterwards and transitioning between paths and roads feels much smoother now on the rear end. This combined with the ZTZ front forks and a new headset this bike is at least 3 times more enjoyable to ride with fully adjustable air shocks. The 210mm might be a bit big for this model but with the front fork replacement the front stanchions sit almost 10mm higher so I went up about 8mm to compensate and get it to feel like it seats the same, just higher. I'd say for a budget fix/replacement this is an overall upgrade for a roadster type e bike. Especially if you find the suspension to be stiff or non existent. ... show more

  • 5 Stars - Great Budget Shock for a Razor SX500
Size: 230mm*550lbs
I installed this MEROCA adjustable air spring shock on a Razor SX500 using the stock swingarm, and it did exactly what I needed it to do. It raised the rear of the bike a couple of inches and supports me at around 200 lbs very well. I've used it both on-road and off-road, and I've been impressed with how well it handles my weight and the different terrain. There are definitely better and more expensive suspension options available if you're building a higher-end setup, but for the price, this shock is hard to beat. It was a noticeable improvement for my SX500 without spending a lot of money. If you're looking for an affordable upgrade for a Razor SX500 with the stock swingarm, this worked very well for me and did exactly what I bought it to do. ... show more

  • A Substantial Upgrade
Size: 190mm*550lbs
This shock is leaps and bounds better than the standard shock that came on my Movcan V30 Pro Max e-bike. I purchased the 190MM variant to retain the stock geometry, though extra travel for dirt riding would be nice. It includes the necessary rollers, and plastic bushings. I greased the inner rollers with Super Lube synthetic grease, though a thicker grease like Lucas Red N Tacky should work well too. You will need to refuse the mounting hardware, in my case a Allen screw, and a Allen headed smooth through-bolt. The shock mounted perfectly on my bike, though due to the added diameter of the spring from stock, it's ~1/4" from rubbing the frame. I am ~160 lbs, generally (lol), and going from a shock with a preload-only adjustent, and a 650 lb/in spring, to a fully adjustable shock with a 550 lb/in spring, is night and day. I can now go off of curbs (standing up), take small jumps, and ride rough dirt roads, and not feel like I am wrecking myself, and the bike. Vastly improved road manners, and corner stability. Time will tell how this shock holds up, but it feels solid, and so far, I'm liking it. I will be looking into air forks to replace the standard non-adjustable spring forks next. ... show more

Terrible shock for street riding, shock does not absorb small bumps what so ever, hard to fit correctly, good for bikes that are more off-road and jumps

  • Worth it's price and more
Size: 240mm*550lbs
Went with the 190-265mm 550 lb. spring air shock to replace the cheap air shock that came on my AKEZ King Kong E-bike and WOW! Made a huge difference in the way my bike handles and responds to all the road imperfections I experience daily as I ride to and from work everyday. First off the spring preload is spot on once you get it set up but the real magic happens when you set the proper air pressure, the rebound and compression dampening. The 550 lb. spring is stout so not much air pressure is needed to achieve the proper settings. I'm around 210 lbs. and my air pressure is set at 90 lbs. 2 clicks of rebound dampening and 1 click of compression dampening and this baby feels just as good if not better than any Fox or Marzocchi air shock I've owned. Totally worth it at less than $100 so buy it!! ... show more
