This is my second product from Moukey. The first was a pair of passive speakers MA-20 2way. Absolutely, great sound from the speakers! I like to test equipment picked up at yard sales and outlets that sell second-hand items. I wanted a small digital amp where I could test speakers, Cd players, DVD players. This product looked to fit my needs. Boy does it ever! It sounds crystal-clear. The audio output will not knock you on your ass...but it is enough to give you beautiful music at a nice sound level. You must be reasonable about your expectations...this is NOT equivalent to what a 25 watt per channel receiver will pump out. That being said, it does get loud enough to hear it at a LOUD level (not ear-splitting). This is exactly what I was looking for for my needs. It weighs a touch over one pound! Purchased this for a specific application and it works well. Small and just enough power to push a small/medium sized speaker. Would have given 5 stars if the USB had better power but alas the design engineers probably did not have my use case in mind. Could do without the radio, and did not test Bluetooth but with line in, works as you would expect. ... show more

    • Perfect if you already have speakers
I had extra speakers lying around with no amp and I wanted a cheap solution to having a stereo system in my garage so I ordered this and wired it up. Works great, signal quality and bandwidth is good for any small space and probably any room in the house too. It would also be good for a pool or porch stereo. The only problem is that the Bluetooth range is very short and super spotty past about 15 feet. You get what you pay for I guess, but it was worth the low price for me. ... show more

Set your expectations appropriately for the price. We have it set up on our patio in AZ and it's handled the heat just fine. Bluetooth connection is kind of weak (limit to about 15 feet, won't pass through walls well and you can't move around much) fix that and it would be a 5 star at the price. It won't blast or thump any speakers but puts out a good enough sound to be heard from 50 feet and still not blow out our neighbors behind us. ... show more

    • Better than $50+ Amps
The search is ended for my bookshelf speakers. This Moukey mimi amp is much better built and sounded than the other one I got for about $50 bucks. The sound is crispier and, more importantly, when you turn off the amp it is really turned off. The other also Chinese made mini amp I got is annoying when you power it off, the usb drive I plugged in is still running. That means the unit is not off. The only complaint I have is that you cannot use banana plugs to hook up the speakers with this amp. Otherwise, highly recommended. ... show more

I've got this connected to an old set of Bose 301's for my garage. Good clear sound, compact size, bluetooth connects quickly, and the USB port will charge my iPhone, which some generic ports don't always do. The one star debit is for the radio. The reception is weak, and it only seems to scan for channels below about 96.0. I've tried moving it, clipping wires to the antenna, no change. I really don't need it for the radio, so no biggie, but just a heads up if you are looking to listen to FM radio with this. It doesn't really work for me. ... show more
