I did not have a banana or child for scale, but I took a pic in front of my adult size vanity to give an idea of size. I was scared the color portion would be some kind of contact paper but it's actually painted on the wood. I put it together in about 20 mins and no issues at all. Very pleased with the purchase.

This vanity is so cute and had a pleasant surprise in the drawer! Very easy to assemble and I'm not a handy person. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the knob on the drawer was missing. Luckily I had a spare from a different project.
