  • Great phone to have
Looking for a phone that's low budget this is the one!

  • Great phone that offers plenty for the price
This phone is locked to AT&T/Cricket and it works very good. You have to call AT&T to activate the phone to your existing account. Other than that, it offers plenty of basic functions. It is fast and gets 5G signal on AT&T prepaid plan and calls in voLTE. It makes and receives calls without any issues as long as you have signal where you are. Screen is nice and bright. Speaker is loud but not as crispy sounding. It can handle HD videos, games, and social media apps no problem. Overall phone is fast to multitask. Battery life is good. Charges at 18W max though which is low in today's standards. Should take around 1.5hr until full charge. Overall it's a good phone for the low price. There's definitely way better phones out there, but price is also way more too. Only gripes are that the main camera quality is less par then an equivalent Samsung phone. Selfie cam works good though. Main camera tends to over expose sometimes and in dark lighting camera has to work harder to get the sharpest image it can get. Also only charges at 18w. Should be at least 30W. Also don't like the color but a nice case takes care of that issue. Also limited on ring tones from factory ... show more

  • Wast of time...
Just so everyone knows before purchasing, this is not an Unlocked phone! Glad we got that out of the way, but to unlock this phone you have to go to AT&T store, or online to the AT&T website. Really wished they mentioned that before purchasing but alright - Anyways, I go on line, the site is telling me to make a $25 purchas to unlock the phone. Annoying, but okay, after waiting for a bit the loading is completed! Then it asked me to make another $75 purchase....to... unlock the phone????? I wasn't gonna waste my time, or money. Don't bother getting this phone- ... show more

  • Not in love with it, it's OK for the Price but probably will go with something else
Have been a user of an iphone for many years. Many many years with the same one and decided I would try an Android and see what I think before I make the switch. This phone seemed to hit the sweet spot for many areas. Low price for those who can't afford a super phone. 5G, long battery life, big screen, lots of memory. There was no real downsides to giving the phone a try. The phone arrives and it's in excellent condition as advertised so I'm very happy with that fact. Battery seems to be full and you can't even tell this was ever used (if it was) prior to purchasing. The transfer process was not as easy. AT & T does not make it as easy as take the SIM card from your iphone and pop it into your Motorola One Ace 5G phone. No no no. It will say it works but it doesn't. You have to go to a local AT&T store or call their customer service number to get it properly changed over as there are things that have to be done for a card to go from apple to android. That's fine. It wasn't that big a deal and it was done in no time. Now for the review. After using the phone for a good long while there are some things I like about the phone and some things I don't. Positives: Big screen, nice camera, long battery life, easy to use and download apps. Very customizable. Has all the features you would want on a Motorola phone like flashlight and finger sensor and 5G capable. And yes it is 5G I can attest to this. I live in a small area where there aren't many towers. I was still getting 5G and it was noticeable and worked fine. I was able to transfer most of my data and apps and contacts to my new phone (with a lot of use of programs and back and forth and time and effort) but even that wasn't too bad. Negatives: USB port is iffy at many times. Won't even connect to my car via USB cable. Have to only use bluetooth which is very annoying as the sound quality isn't as good and its so much easier to do everything through direct connection. Multi-texts are still not working. No matter what I do I can't get multiple texts to arrive on my phone like I was able to with the iphone. I have done all the methods told to do to get this to work. Like turning off the options and facetime on your previous iphone and doing resets and clearing cache and restarting and even factory reset. Nope. No matter what I do texts with more than one person will not arrive on this phone. Which is a problem as I do need my phone for that purpose especially for work where we have a lot of group texts going all day with important information. The stories about sudden dropped calls while you are talking with this phone are sadly true. Was on with family member who was on their regular land line. The second I walked out of wifi range (phone has wifi calling which is a plus) the call was dropped and was unable to reestablish and had to call their cell phone to get them back after many attempts. The rest of the complaints are Android based but I suppose that's just me preferring iOS over Android when all is said and done. Silly things like being able to easily close screens and go back in browsers and have call blocking lists and things like that. You can do all these things but it was so much simpler in iOS and seems like so many menus and options have to be dug through to do simple things. Sadly I wanted to love the phone. Right now I just like it but not enough to really make it my permanent phone. I will probably try something else that works better and is more reliable and easier to use. Just too many little things off about this phone that don't meet my comfort and every day needs. The multiple participant chats not working is the biggest problem. USB connections not working is second. The rest I can live with but those two are big deals and it shouldn't be this complicated to get these options to work when switching to a new phone with the same phone number. Results will vary. Just realize it's a cheaper model phone for a reason. Not perfect. Not the best. It has some good features and options but you get what you pay for. If you want an affordably priced phone with a huge screen, some weight to it and 5G and is basically an android phone otherwise that has spotty service and some buggy aspects to it.. this is the phone for you. If you want something much better than that, definitely avoid as you can do better by spending a little more to get something a little more stable and of quality. ... show more

  • Amazing phone 😍
Absolutely love this phone. It's ten times faster and easier to use than the LG neon it replaced. Was so easy to set up and does everything faster and easier than my last phone and it's so big I can actually read the screen. Love it

  • 6 mos later...
I've had this phone about 6 months now and it's still going strong. I've dropped it several times and the screen hasn't cracked. I have a case on it, but my last 3 phones got broken screens regardless of the cases, so I've been pleasantly surprised because I have dropped this thing HARD on ceramic tile and it worked just as well after. It's fast enough. Plenty of storage. My only complaint is the camera is really challenging to figure out. I can't seem to capture video that doesn't screw up the picture when I'm moving around. I'm sure there's some setting I haven't figured out yet, but it's annoying because one of the reasons I bought this was for the powerful camera, and I just can't figure out the settings. ... show more
