I have owned a few brands of smart watch from cheap to expensive. All smart watches usually have their strengths and weaknesses. For instance I currently own the last generation Motowatch 100 which being a Motorola fan I felt the watch was on the right track but not there just yet. I feel the Motowatch 120 gets it right. The display is beautiful and reminds me of the Pixel watch and I like the larger size. The choice of watch faces is a nice and needed addition to Motowatch. The faces on the Motowatch 100 were bland to ugly and you only had 6. Believe me when I say this watch looks way better in person than the images I have seen online. I feel it gets the basics right in health tracking, light notifications, design, and weight. It hits those bases just right and does not distract me but I feel hits a good balance of wearable and fitness. The major plus for me is the battery life! It has lasted for a week now and still going strong. Granted I am moderately active so I don't do fitness tracking all the time so usage may vary. But I have changed watch faces quite a bit and fiddled around the watch doing smart watch things and the battery holds up. I do like the workout detection feature, I have more expensive smart watches and the workout detection either over does it or under does it. This watch does a descent job in my opinion especially at the price. I feel this watch should be the foundation in which Motorola moves forward with their wearable business. Being and owner of the motowatch 360 (which I don't wear anymore) and seeing Google abandon their OEM partners Motowatch OS has a lot of strengths to build off of. More popular Apple and Google watches are more integrated with their ecosystems but at the cost of too much stuff running in the background trying keep up with everything. Or a 3rd party app or watch face not "tuned" very well and killing off the battery. Taking a more measured approach and getting the basics of a smartwatch right first then making improvements and maybe let in 3rd parties later in my view is smart. Plus I like how Motowatch OS is familiar in how it functions but has its own signature with the home screen. The half screen recent apps and weather to me is a nice touch. It sets is apart from the competition. Is it worth a buy? For what you get for the price definitely. Is it an Apple watch or Pixel or Galaxy? Nope, but why should it be? Choice is good. Can you rock a Motorola Razr, Moto buds and a Motowatch 120 and not follow the crowd and be original and who cares what people think? Yep! So if you are on the fence about picking one up hop over and get one.

WOW I am seriously impressed already! Easy to get it up and running with the app , This smart watch rivals the Samsung Galaxy watch I paid over 200 for last year ! Seriously no joke , I am beyond impressed! Thank you Moto ❤️it's beautiful,nice large bezel, light weight, stylish and the features are awesome,easy connectivity, feels like it has durability,I'm excited to see if this watch holds long life on the battery, something I feel the Samsung Galaxy watch I have seriously lacked for such a massive price tag , I've loved Motorola Smart phones so I'm excited to convert back to Motorola for me smart devices as I know the quality and value for the buck in my opinion is superior to the price tags if the other competitor's who charge by name and not quality of the products. This is not a "great...for the money" review, though this watch is that. It's an excellent, somewhat basic, smartwatch at an excellent price point. It does not have all the features and app availability of the latest Galaxy or Pixel, and runs Moto's app as opposed to Wear OS, but their app works well on my Android. What it does offer is a really nicely constructed case, comfortable and easily replaced band, and a gorgeous, smoothly curved display similar to the $300+ Pixel. It has the notification, fitness and sleep tracking, weather and audio playback controls that most people need. Finally, the battery life. Amazing. I'm on my third day, and battery's at 80%. I would have charged my last watch twice already.

I had a Samsung watch that I really loved but it was old and needed replacing. When I got a new moto phone I wanted a new matching watch. I love the battery life and charging speed. It will last all week on a charge, but the Samsung only 2 days max. The magnetic charging port on this watch is a bad design. You have to put the charger in just the right spot and it's easily knocked off. However, I do like the pulse rate monitor as it reads pretty constantly, the Samsung maybe once an hour. I noticed the sleep monitor on this one is hard to read and I think it's not very accurate. All in all, it's a decent smart watch. Took some time getting used to, but works.

This is a quality smartwatch at a great value. It detects pulse, blood oxygen, steps, and stress levels. Its very comfortable. I did have to swap the stock silicone band with something else after a little bit because my skin got irritated with the strap when sweating. It has held up to walks, hikes, and occasional light water exposure. It features a nice looking face with optional always-om time display and customizable watch faces. It's not very heavy at all and has worked well and been durable with only a few light scratches after a lot of use. I will say, the app connectivity is not always reliable, sometimes requiring multiple syncs or even disconnecting/reconnecting or restarting the watch. Another thing that confused me is that the hiking exercise mode does not have distance/GPS capabilities. However, if you can look past this, it is nice.
