    • The collar at the neck is stiff and annoying..

Tight fit, and will keep you warm. The velcro fastener for the neck collar is too stiff and feels like you are being choked because of the harsh edge. Might soften up after a wash or 2? For now I don't fasten the collar. I think the cost and fit are well worth it.

I was very skeptical about buying this jacket. I have reached the age where I care about protection if I fall or worse.....so I bought this and I am pleasantly surprised! It's good fitting, comfortable jacket. I think it actually looks better in person too. It has quite a few pockets. As for protection, it is what it is.....an inexpensive jacket. It has some foamy armor padding on the shoulders and elbows and back. Not bad, but not comparable to a top level jacket. I don't ride crazy, and I mostly ride my scooter so this is good enough for me. Another thing.....it is heavy. If you are used to wearing a t shirt only, you will notice how heavy this jacket is on your first long ride. It's really pretty solid material. I honestly can't believe you can get a jacket this good for this price. BTW....I have not been in rain with it so I put five stars but I have no idea how it does. It does help you keep warm in colder weather.....50 degree weather I am good. It does seem to be able to get some air in it to breathe. I think it would be miserable in 90+ temperatures. Cons: Sizing (the Large is XL), and the red is lighter than I expected based on the photos. Provided armor feels a little awkward. Pros: Keeps me dry when it rains and warm at 28 degrees. Better than my leather jacket.
