My grandson fell off his dirt bike and I decided he at least needed one of these chest protectors. It’s good quality and looks cool so he has been wearing it and I feel much better knowing it will save a chest injury if he falls off again.

The armor chest and back plate have a sleek design. Comfortable when worn and stable when riding. The main issue I have with it is the mechanism used for the straps. It is flimsy. While it does help with accommodating many different sized wearer's it does not feel secure. The "Tabs" don't give any real feedback that they are engaging and sometimes the Tabs don't lock down so the flap will just slide out of the socket. You have to pull up on the tab and then push down on it in the right spot. After all that it might hold steady. Overall, the same thing could have been better accomplished with a latch or some other mechanism. I am not a very big fan of Velcro for reusablility purposes, but even Velcro would have been better in terms of reliability. While this doesn't entirely ruin the product for me it does cause some issues with trust in the overall company and will prevent me from recommending this to potential clients.

This chest protector is surprisingly lightweight. The hard polypropylene shell feels sturdy enough to deflect roost and handle minor impacts on the trail. Adjusting the shoulder velcro and side straps for the first time gets you a snug fit that doesn't shift around while riding. I wore this for a 90 minute trail ride on a warm day. The ventilation holes work quite well, keeping my core from overheating much better than a full jacket. The coverage is decent, protecting the sternum and most of the spine. The inner foam lining is about a half inch thick, which does a good job of absorbing small bumps without feeling bulky. My one gripe is with the side mounted plastic clasps. They don't inspire a ton of confidence and feel a bit flimsy. You really have to press them in firmly and listen for a distinct click to ensure they're fully engaged. A quick tug on the strap confirms they're locked in, but I would prefer a more substantial buckle system. At 6’3 and 190 pounds, I had plenty of adjustment left in the waist straps, which the specs say can fit up to a 47 inch waist. It sits comfortably over a jersey and doesn't restrict arm or torso movement when leaning into turns or standing on the pegs. This is a great option for casual trail riders or beginners needing reliable core protection. Serious racers will likely want something with more robust closures and integrated shoulder guards. It provides a very functional level of safety for its class.

This chest protector fits my 14-year-old very well and still has room to grow. I ordered a large, expecting it to be a bit big, but the adjustment straps make it easy to dial in a secure fit. It’s relatively easy to put on, though my son did need some help the first few times while getting the straps adjusted. Once set up, it’s much easier to take on and off. It offers solid protection while riding, and he said it’s comfortable to wear. We were out for a few hours, and he had no complaints about comfort or movement, and it didn’t restrict his range of motion. The outer shell is hard and feels protective, while the inner layer is soft, breathable, and comfortable against the body. Overall, it’s a good value and a reasonable way to add protection for kids or riders without spending a lot.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this chest protector, but after trying it out, it wasn’t quite the pleasant surprise I hoped for. The design looks cool and sleek, but the materials feel more costume-grade than something built for real impact protection. The outer shell and padding are pretty thin—about the kind of foam you’d find in packaging—so while it’s lightweight and comfortable, it doesn’t inspire much confidence in serious situations. The straps and Velcro closures also feel on the flimsy side, which makes me question how long they’ll last with regular use. As for sizing, the “large” fits more like a medium on someone tall—I’m 6'2", and it rides up above my stomach when I sit. I’d say it’s fine for light use—maybe for e-scooters, casual trail rides, or beginners who want minimal protection without spending a lot—but definitely not something I’d trust for motocross or high-speed riding. It looks the part, but it’s more form than function.
