Wanted to add another flagpole for my luggage rack. This was a good value and came with an extra flag which I really like. Looks good, held up nice on a short ride both City and highway speeds. Both flagpoles I have from different sellers, will update report on general durability once they've been on the bike for a while.     • Tape the trailing edges of the flags!
You can't beat this item for the money! A similar chrome flag holder at the Harley dealership was 60.00 and that was just for one. They are easy to install as well. You'll want to put a crease of clear shipping tape over the trailing edges of the flags though. After one ride the American Flag started to fray and the Marine Corps Flag was just beginning to. Other than that they are well worth the money!! An update to the above comments. Shipping tape won't hold. Its blown off each time I tried to use it. So I've tried folding the trailing edge over and stitching it some more and then put hot glue over the threads. We'll see how that holds. ... show more

First, I have to admit that I am a little late with sharing this review. Overall, the flag poles and mounts were okay. They were a little cumbersome tightening them on the luggage rack since I had to place them in the proper position then maneuver underneath to tighten the bolts. Where I was highly disappointed was with the flags themselves. My first ride with the flags on my bike was 425 miles, leaving from Hyattsville, Maryland. By the time I arrived in Indian Trail, NC, the edges were frayed on both flags and the National lag was splitting apart. Not what I expected. Be prepared to order a decent set of flags! ... show more

    • Caution in mounting the flag to the pole.
They are beautiful and solid on my bike. I tore a little on one because it was a tight fit. It would roll down on the O-ring and stick. I had to sew it up a little. So be careful sliding them over the poles.

We'll I'm hoping I just received 2 defected flags with my order, the mounting kits and poles are really nice and seem very heavy duty and look great on my bike. ( I recommend using Loc tight ) I'm also hoping the manufacturer will send me two new flags to replace the two I recieved. I went on a 190 mile round trip motorcycle ride with my club today and the flags started unraveling within the 1st 30 miles my wife cut all the hanging treads at the 1st stop and put finger nail polish on the end to help it which it did somewhat but now we are home the flags seriously look a couple years old already they look like they are fading because of all the treads blowing away. So please send me 2 new flags and I will change my review to a 5 star review because really the post and brackets are not only beautiful they are well made. Hopefully a American company can make flags correctly. (The pictures don't really show very good but they look faded and torn. They break in the wind. Both didn't even last a year. ... show more
