This product shouldn’t be sold as it contains lead. And given the manufacturer’s response (or lack thereof) to my inquiry, I question why BDK Auto is even allowed to sell products on Amazon. When I received the steering wheel cover, the design/look exceeded my expectations and I was looking forward to putting it on my steering wheel…until I saw the following notice. “Warning: This product contains chemicals, including lead, know (sic) to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.” A steering wheel cover that contains lead? Wash hands after handling? Who in their right mind would make such a product? The warning doesn’t say it MAY contain lead. It states that it DOES contain lead. I called Amazon to see if I could get more specific information related to why the CA required notice was applied to this product. Amazon didn’t have any information but gave me the phone number for the manufacturer, BDK Auto. I called BDK asking to speak with someone who could answer some specific questions about this product. I was transferred to a gentleman who listened to my question, paused, told me he’d have to research for a minute, then hung up. Giving him the benefit of the doubt that the hang up wasn’t intentional, I called back. This time, no one answered the phone at all. I waited a few minutes and tried again. On the third call, the woman who answered said there was no one there for me to talk to. When I persisted in my request to speak with someone, she asked if my question had to do with the CA warning notice (which led me to believe I’m not the only person who’s called with respect to this notice). The subsequent conversation was strained, as she was intent on not transferring me to anyone. At one point she stated that she doesn’t normally answer the phone and didn’t even have to answer my call. Another very defensive reply was telling me that BDK simply sells the product and I would have to call China. Regardless, she continued to state that nobody was there for me to talk to (even though I had been transferred the first time I called). I should have given up at that point but I persisted. She eventually offered to give me an email address of someone she said could answer my questions but continued to state there was nobody there I could talk to and there was no other number I could call. When I mentioned that it seemed like she was trying to deflect my question, she claimed I was refusing the service she was providing to me (an email address). So…I’m left with the following questions: Why would anyone design a steering wheel cover that contains lead? How could Motor Trend license its name to such a product? How could Amazon sell a product like this that contains lead? How could Amazon allow a company like BDK to sell any products on Amazon? Given my experience, Amazon graciously refunded the purchase price and I will NOT be using this cover. Buy at your own risk.

Once I noticed that my steering wheel was gradually being destroyed by the sun I knew I needed something to protect it. I needed something comfortable, appealing to the eye, and inexpensive. I searched for the perfect one and I can honestly say that this one is it! In my opinion it’s made perfectly for my Civic because the sides of my steering wheel are a bit more bulky then other cars but this steering wheel cover fit like a glove. I can say that I did break a sweat trying to place it on perfectly but I should have let it warmed up like the instructions said in order for it to stretch a bit more but I couldn’t contain my excitement! The grips on the side make it even more comfortable to drive with and after you have it on for a few days you won’t even notice it and you’re steering wheel will look amazing! If you are a looking, stop and hit buy because I couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you for saving my steering wheel and wallet!

My image says it all! It looks great on my 2006 Honda Civic coupe. Most importantly, it fits perfect! I tried a Wal-mart steering wheel cover and it was too loose. I pulled out my phone and opened Amazon and found this as top search steering wheel cover for a Honda Civic and the reviews do not lie! Tip: To make installation easier; - Do heat it up by leaving it sometime in the sun or in my case I used a heat gun to speed up the process.

Initially it looked way too small but you just have to keep working it slowly a little at a time. It took a solid 10 minutes but it eventually went on. I used only my hands, no tools for leverage because I didn’t want to accidentally damage the product or my steering wheel. I chose the model with red stitching to match the ambient lights and red accessories in my 2020 Honda Ridgeline.

Had to wrestle it on but that's the compromise for a very sturdy cover. I think it's so dangerous getting one that slides when steering. I try to get ones that barely fit over mine for the most reliable fit. I love the texture and slightly raised surface around the sides. The texture isn't too dry or tacky. Most are always a little too one or the other but this is perfect. The dry ones tickle your hand when your need it to slide and the tacky ones seem to cling in an uncomfortable way, leaving your hands feeling a little clammy Most don't care about these things. They probably expect that to be the case with a steering wheel cover but it is possible to get the perfect material and for me, this is it! Very happy. Would get for a second car if I had one.

I love it, it looks great, and it fits perfectly on my small steering wheel! I drive a 2013 Honda Civic Coupe and most steering wheel covers do not fit mine, however the size small fit perfectly! To put the cover on, I had to heat the steering wheel cover up for about 8 minutes. Also, the order arrived much earlier than expected!

I'm very pleased with this steering wheel cover for my car with its unusually small steering wheel (CR-Z). The cover feels like leather, doesn't get hot, and is comfortable to drive with. The little lumps on the sides make handing the wheel a little bit easier, and the blue stitches (which are a touch lighter than expected) look pretty sharp. It's just soft enough without being 'SOFT!' and it really contributes to my car's comfort. All in all, I expect this wheel cover to last a few years before the Texas sun makes it crack open, and my actual steering wheel underneath will be preserved. Well worth the price.

Extremely padded and easy to install on my 2012 Honda Civic. Leather certainly feels high quality and for the price, it simply can’t be beat. Doesn’t look tacky either whatsoever.
