It was a bear putting it on. Partially because of the folded crease when shipped. I let it straighten out over night. I followed the directions exactly. I thought that I was going to have to return it. I had to leave it half way on in the warm car for several hours until it stretched out some. After a few good tugs and alignment, I got it on. It is snuggly on, looks good with my leather interior and is comfy when driving. I’m hoping it holds up for awhile, unlike the original steering wheel. I think it’s a good buy. ... show more

This thing looks, and feels absolutely fantastic. The red isn't overbearing, and looks super crisp with the black, and great accent for all the red on my dash and center console. It was not an easy install by any means. I gave that a 4 star, because it wasn't easy, but I got it on there with no extra tools. It just took some time to wedge it on there just right. A little on the left, a little on the right, rinse, repeat many more times. Not easy, but I don't want it too easy. Otherwise it would be slipping and sliding all over the place while making a turn. This thing isn't going anywhere. I've only had it on there a couple weeks, so I can't speak on the durability. It seems to be good craftsmanship, but there are a lot of stitches. I don't know how long it'll last, but gun to my head I'd say 2 years in the same condition with daily driving. After that the stitches are going to start to pull apart, and the rubber-like black parts will be rubbed down by the heel of my hand. I think it'll hold through the years, but it'll just look used and nowhere near the same condition even with cleaning. ... show more

Update: Looks fantastic and is still an improvement on the standard wheel. However, I'm currently trying out a different cover for a two reasons. While the material here is very robust, it doesn't pair well with either sweat or grease. If you want to maintain grip, clean it very frequently. In addition to this, the stitching on the back is a poor design choice for anyone with softer hands. Due to the thickness, it's rather thick and almost wire like. Paired with the fact that there is no textured finish on that side, sliding your fingers over the wheel is rather uncomfortable. Other than that, it's a great product. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It's not genuine leather, I don't know what the point of that lie in the title is because that's actually a good thing (leather can be difficult to maintain, especially when you touch it so frequently). It adds a nice bit of thickness to the steering wheel (probably about 60% more circumference on mine), so just what I was looking for. Not difficult to install but can be tricky to center properly, I recommend initially getting it as close as possible then getting a second person to hold the wheel in place while you micro-adjust by sliding the cover. I was worried about the gap but it's actually tight enough to not interfere with grip or comfort. There's only two reasons why I wouldn't get this particular product: either if you're already comfortable with your current wheel's thickness or if the leather/material on your wheel is damaged. If you're buying this as an attempt to cover up wear or damage, I'd advise against it. If it's already serious enough, it probably won't hold this cover in place well enough and might just end up tearing. Unless you get a cover that's specifically made for your make and model to actually stitch on yourself (which is easy enough if you can actually find one, but can be either tedious or expensive depending on how you choose to install it), this will usually be a sufficient alternative. ... show more

Very happy with the quality! 2023 Honda CRV-hybrid Sport. Color is as it appears. Fit snuggly and had to use a hairdryer to warm the pleather in order to get it on. Makes the steering wheel noticeable larger to the grip. Love this and the way it looks!
