This carb was pretty much 100% plug and play for my 2004 Honda Rancher 400. Slight (1/2 to 3/4 turn) fuel/air adjustment using the adjustment screw and it’s like new again. Much cheaper than the OEM part.

    • Not worth your money
It is not worth your time or money to buy this product. I have a 04 Honda rancher 400 and idles fine but will not run correct, too much fuel not enough air. I tired to tune it out and adjust the settings on the carburetor but no luck, every turn and still hasn't run right since. your best choice is to get oem only and rebuild or buy new or used oem would be worth everything. ... show more

    • Its okay But:
This carb is okay but it set far too lean on the idle circuit. Shouldn't need to use choke in 102f degree weather. Do yourself a favor before installing this carb. Pop off the idle air enrichment cap and gently seat the adjustment screw. Then back it out 2.5 turns. Now after it is installed you can easily adjust it to fit your needs without having to remove the carb to do it. ... show more

    • It works!
I'm a very handy guy, but I'm not a mechanic. Taking the old carburetor out and installing this one on my 2006 Honda Rancher 400 took about 90 minutes ( I didn't time it but more or less ) Once the new one was in, the bike started right up. I had to adjust the idle up just a bit, ( super easy ) that was it, it seems to run just fine. Update, I took my ATV out yesterday and rode it pretty hard, up and down steep hills. burned a tank of gas. It ran great, no issues. ... show more

I picked a middle of the road (price-wise) carb and hoped for the best. I gotta admit I was a little worried it would be a poorly constructed P.0.S ..... buy this carb with confidence! Its OEM quality and not bad to install - for way less than you'd pay to take it to the shop for a rebuild. My results were a smooth running ATV that ran like new! I'm not easily impressed but IM IMPRESSED! ... show more
