I have been doing my own polygel nails at home for a couple years and I can honestly say that this is the absolute best polygel I have tried. The consistency is great, it's easy to tap out in the dual form and the colors are great if you don't care to polish your nails or easy to cover if you do polish your nails. I have tried several other brands of polygel including Beetles, Makartt and Rosalind. All of those were difficult to use and the consistency was awful. Morovan is sensational in comparison. I have to say the colors are pretty! And it doesn't have a horrible smell, is very easy to remove, and it also files away pretty cleanly with an electric drill, even if you don't know how to use one. Cons: sticky, sticky, sticky! I tried soaking it in warm water as suggested by the instructions, but that only made it even harder to squeeze out of the tube, so I tried a different brush and my finger. After 4 days of trying all the slip solution, the entire tube was empty! I'm not sure why it's slippery on the nail beds but thick and unspreadable in the form. Plus, a few forms cracked while I was trying to squeeze the poly gel into the form. I watched video after video and even tried nail-form stickers, but it just wouldn't spread. Also wiped the base down in case that was the issue. My friend who is used to using poly gel also had problems, but this might work for a nail crack! ... show more

I use A LOT of Morovan products, I love most of them. The top coat in the last 4 kits I have bought just SUCKS, its thick like glue and doesn't shine very well. I have asked for a replacement from Amazon and got the same topcoat. With that said... the rest is great. Take your time!!! This is important. Do your nail prep and CURE it all the way... I cure my base coat 30sec not 60sec it seems to bond better. Do one finger at a time... You can do this, just like anything else it takes practice. My nails are clear poly gel painted with gel polish in pink and red. 4 stars because I have to buy a topcoat else where. Other than that I do recommend Morovan products! ... show more

ummm ok, so I'm pretty good at doing stuff myself rather than spending tons of money to someone else. I've put on fake nails before, with arthritis, it's hard at times, I saw this on tik tok and youtube and thought how hard could this be? Well, I'll tell ya, one the primer and other tubes to use you Have to keep a cup of very warm to hot water or constantly get a hot towel to put tubes in so you can keep using it. Otherwise, it gets back to being hard. 2 tubes I found pretty empty and thought wow that was crappy. I've tried a set and after they just came off. They're not very sturdy to stay on fingers. I even had my nail gal look at the set and then the nails I did, she said I did a good job but the product seemed to be really old, which was prob why the tubes were always drying up and hard to keep soft. maybe when I have the money ill try again but dont have the money to spend on it.. ... show more

This product was shipped on time the The Sellar package it very nicely you have everything that is shown in the pictures as well in the description everything in a box work a uv light and adhesive definitely it works I called myself trying to do a practice run counld pop it off.. whatever you do if you do a good prep on your nail the adhesive definitely will not come off there are instructions of how to cure your nails for the colors the light colors as well as the dark colors reading is fundamental as far as that I would definitely recommend this to somebody that starting off as a beginner ... show more

    • Slip Solution grabs poly-gel weird
So, I have done poly-gel quite a few times. Before I used a product called Biutee. This product was a little bit more expensive so I decided to give it a shot. Poly-gel to me is time consuming, but I believe its one of those things that practice produces perfection, so I honestly haven't spent that much time on it. (Disclaimer) So I was excited for this product, because the nail clamps that come with it seemed they would be more ergonomically correct. For me, that is not the case. I'm not sure if it was just my finger anatomy, but they clamped the gel all over the wrong places. Secondly, the slip solution was not working correctly at all, no matter how much or little I used, it was just 'grabbing' the poly-gel in the wrong way, making it so that I could not properly form no matter how bad I wanted. Eventually I gave up and tried to just use my alcohol dip bottle, and that did me no justice either. I think the chemical consistency of this gel is just off. I would consider myself a beginner, so absolutely any tips are appreciated, but I really think the chemical composition of this one is just not right. Eventually, in a perfect world, I will be able to poly-gel over just my natural nails for strength and reinforcement, but unfortunately this is not the product to do it. My next step is to choose the most highly rated. Regardless of price. ... show more
