I first used the pink when buying the set of three a few months ago. the pink is adorable, cures fine and looks beautiful. i tried the other day to build some nails with a natural looking french tip, using clear at the base and the top would be white. the clear does not cure. i saw some reviews saying the gels didn’t cure, but because most said they were beginners i assumed they didn’t know abt the tacky layer u have to wipe off after curing… this was not the case, the clear does not dry at all. the packaging also leaks a lot. i put away the three tubs all tightly closed (with the white and clear unopened) and the pink drained out into the box and on all of my nails supplies. it was stored upright for a month in a closet out of the heat and sun. when i went to use the gels a few days ago i found the pink was completely empty. cute products, they work good for the price, but definitely not a long term deal. also seems most buyers had the same issue with the clear. ... show more

I've been trying to find ways to save money without cutting out the little things that make me happy. Having nice nails make me happy. DIY nails are tough as it is, and I tried everything but acrylic. I won't mess with that. I'll would just go to the salon. All of the other products, gel polish, poly gel, dip, they would always chip or look busted after a day or 2. Then I read up on hard gel or builder gel. This was my last try and getting decent enough nails to last me at 2 weeks. This is it! I only used it to lengthen my nails for first few times, because my nails were so weak.     • Gel is not curing!!!

This product isn’t working for me. When I first received it, I used it with my regular fold up led lamp that I use on a regular basis for both color and hard gel curing purposes. I applied an even coat, and tried curing it for 30 seconds, which usually hardens the product I apply to the nails somewhat, like at least 60-70% after which I just put it under for another round of 30 seconds. Not for this one. I tried curing it a grand total of 6 times (3 Minutes total !!3!!) only to see it is still extremely tacky and gloopy. I thought that maybe it was the slip layer that’s still tacky, and when I went to wipe it off it literally slid off like nothing. So I gave up and used another hard gel for that set. I came back to this later to try it out with the big guns, my 48 watt led lamp. Mind you- a 36 watt lamp should be more than sufficient to cure any uv/led nail resins, but a 48 watt lamp is just faster at curing in less time so you’re not exposed to more uv light than you need. EVEN AFTER the recommended 1-3 minute recommendation on the jar, the gel still doesn’t cure, remaining soft and pliable. I stirred up the jar just to see if maybe anything settled or separated, but same result. I don’t feel comfortable at all using this product. Guys, PSA!!! Your gel should always be fully cured to prevent the risk of developing contact dermatitis and/or other skin conditions!! Always use a strong uv lamp for at least a minute to make sure your color/builder gel is cured fully and properly! Don’t rush it to risk it. ... show more

I bought this thinking it was hard gel I could ball up, it very much was not however that was my mistake entirely. This requires a good amount of understanding to use and it was one of the first products I ever used as far as using polygel. It can get very messy if you don't know what you're doing. Pros: • It is a true clear. It's not hazy like a lot of products on the market advertising its clear. • You get a ton of product for a great price! • Low odor. •Produces great results. Cons: (again, keep in mind I am not by any means a veteran in working with builder gel) • This stuff is very sticky. • The thin consistency makes it somewhat difficult to work with. • My jar despite how many times I clean it ends up leaking out of the cap and when I go to use it, it's sitting in a puddle of product. • Takes forever to cure. I usually have to cure them for about 6 minutes(I know, I know.) To fully harden and usually use very thin layers. I do not have a morovan lamp, but my lamp is 120 watts UV/LED so I assumed it would be able to handle this. In the pictures I used them to do a French tip on one set (it's not the best picture) and a lava lamp type set which I think is where it really shined. The lava lamp set was my first time ever using polygel of any kind and I found the experience very pleasant! Despite my cons, I still reccomend this product but I also reccomend you take the time to learn how to properly use it, something I didn't do. ... show more

First of all, I am not a nail tech or a pro but I’m pretty good at painting my nails and have been doing my own gel manicures for the past few months. I’ve never used forms before or any sort of product like this. I got this product because I got acrylic nails done at a salon and wanted to extend them without having to go back to the salon. Also hoping to start doing my own fills with this. Problems I had: The nail forms did not work well with my finger shapes. It did not cure as easily as expected with this product even though it recommend a lamp with at least 48 watts (my lamp is 88w). I had to put them in the lamp probably 10x for each hand to build thickness and strength. It was super sticky even after I got the product to cooperate and never lost its stickiness even after wiping with alcohol after curing as instructed. I have no idea how to get the product off my fingers. Pros: It was self leveling which meant less filing to get a good shape. It’s super durable which I had doubts about. Feels just as strong as my acrylics. For $13 it did the job even though it took me 3 hours. ... show more
