Because the bear is packed in a vacuum, so when you open the package, you feel it's completely different from the picture. You need to get the cotton out of the bear and lengthen the cotton. In the end, you can get the same bear as the picture. Yes, he’s a little high maintenance, I had to de-fluff and re-fluff him, but he was so worth it. It might be a little inconvenient, but I just re-fluffed his fluff while watching a movie so it was effortless. And I actually love that he has a zipper, it allowed me to sew a few ribbons on him so I could use him as a prop in my business. If I could change anything about him, it would only be that he would be just a little wider/ fatter. But he is SO soft, sits well on his own, and doesn’t shed (which I was worried about) I would absolutely recommend this bear. Now I want to larger one too Lol ... show more

I ordered this bear to use at a show and for advertising for our children's hangers, Monkey Hangup. As you can see by the pictures, it couldn't have been better! We had to use some tape and wires (that can't be seen) to make our bear sit and stand, but everyone who saw it, loved it!

I was worried about buying it cause I saw people saying it was really flat and had rips in it but I took my chances. The bear is really soft and I didn’t have to take out the fluff and fix it or anything. It came really nice. Great teddy

First imma just say "THANK YOU....because These Bears are Wonderful and Nice". Now As I Read Some Views on this and other Bears and i must say people cant either read instructions or they dont pay attention. Most bears are all not fluffed or perfect i agree but when you read the instructions they tell you to refluff it because it is vacuum sealed. I took mine out the package and vacuum plastic and they popped alive. I open the zipper and started separating the cotton and fluffing it out into areas of the bear. I did it for atleast 10mins for each bear to evenly spread the cotton around and look at my pics. They are sitting correctly and are fluffed to perfection. I will definitely order more bears from this brand and in different colors. I really love them and they are actually for my mother for MOTHERS DAY coming up. Shes going to love them. Nice size. Right colors and 51 inches too....yeah they are very worth what you pay too....love them ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical because of the bad reviews but it came in the super small sealed bag. I thought no way that bear is in there. I opened it up and the bear just bursted right up and it was amazing. Didn't have to re stuff it at all. But I ended up taking out the stuffing and breaking it up and re stuffing it. It looks alot fuller. Fill in the legs and hands and head and nose and mouth first. Make sure you stuff the nose and mouth really good. There was more than enough stuffing. I thought too much honestly. 5 star bear, I would've paid way more for it. Very soft and cuddly. Break up stuffing so it's not lumpy when you cuddle it. But I will definitely buy again if I need to.
