I personally bought this to use in my dorm room for my roommate and I because the ventilation system makes our room dusty and dirty and this filter really just makes the air so much cleaner and makes it feel like a breath of fresh air. Super quiet too on either options so I can leave it on overnight without being bothered by the noise and waking up by it. There is also an anion option which changes the ions in the air.
