After comparing this with ~10 other options (brands, all similar), I decided on this one. I was a bit worried as many of the reviews mentioned cracks in the table top upon delivery (though many also noted prompt replacement by the company). I figured that these reviews were largely over a year old and the company had likely sorted it out. I was pleased to see that it was in perfect condition when it arrived! The curve cutout was a bit deeper in person than it appeared in the photos; however, it really doesn't sacrifice all that much dept. There is plenty of room for my table mounted light and laptop without my elbows hanging off the front edge. The cable holes are well placed... far enough our of the way but also not IN the way of an angled second monitor in the corner. The cable guides also have a nice push and rotate mechanism to cover the slot when not in use. There seemed to be a bit of variation in terms of the wood appearance (I got the lighter version) in the photos. This makes sense as it seems to be constructed from 6-8" lengths of hardwood flooring. Mine has some variation in the darkness of individual sections, but nothing that really stands out... it all blends nicely and that slight variation is pleasant to look at. The top is heavy duty (!) and sanded to a very smooth finish. Everything else seems to be of similar high quality, the shaft that runs the width to raise the side opposite the motor is less heavy duty in feel than the other parts, but given its purpose and where it's located, I don't see that being an issue. Relatedly, I wasn't sure if going with a single motor table vs. dual would end up being important down the road... it's not. It raises/lowers a bit slower than some dual motor ones I've used, but not enough to make that a deal breaker... I only use the function once an hour and by the time i stand up and move my chair out of the way, it's nearly at standing height, any faster wouldn't make much of a difference. It does wobble a bit when standing, though I can be an aggressive typer, and I do have it on a carpeted floor. The controls are easy to use, fairly standard for things in this category; they are mounted out of the way and the plastic housing is quite thick, if I bumped into it fairly hard, I have no doubt it would just shake it off. Lastly, assembly went smoothly, everything is labeled well and the instructions were clear. Holes for screwing the table top to the base were predrilled, so if you have some forearm strength, you don't need a drill... a screwdriver works just fine. My only gripe is that most of the holes didn't line up very accurately with the holes in the base, quite a few screws needed to go in at a slight angle... a couple at a severe angle. There is cushioning between the top and base, so not having perfect alignment wasn't as big a deal... and this is me being nit-picky, I don't think it really matters in the end, none of the screws seemed like they would split the wood or strip the holes out at those screw angles. TL;DR - If you're comparing this with others trying to decide on which one to go with, just pick this one; I would choose it again, even if it were $100 more. ... show more

I love this desk!!! I can fit my bike I have at home under it!! It's at the max when it's all the way up. I have a blood clot disorder and I chose to leave my job at Amazon due to me having such issues with my disorder. I have a doctor's note even for my disorder. But one manager came up to me very rudely and said Amazon doesn't pay for me to use the restroom so I walked out. I didn't even speak of my note. And I gotten a job to work at home and I found a desk that I could raise up and down that is real wood. You can purchase the desk separately. Or the stand separately also. It's big enough to fit two screens. It has three settings. My first setting is for when I sit. Second is when I stand. Third is whe. I need to put my bike under it so I can use it to really move my legs. I love it. I would definitely recommend. I seen another desk that is longer. For more room but I just needed this one. It's real wood and it's good enough for me. My boyfriend put it together for me. Make sure you watch the video. He didn't. I told him there was and I watched it and he should have but he still got it right. But it was cute because he just was doing his manly thing not doing the full directions. I bought this desk for my son. I was really happy with the quality of the desk. The desktop is one solid piece and very nice. So much nicer than the desks where top is split into more than one piece. The mechanism for raising and lowering the desk is easy to use and very smooth. It took about an hour to build with two people but not hard to build. Definitely worth the price. ... show more

It took me about 1 hour to put together myself. The desk itself came in two separate shipping deliveries, so donโ€™t panic if the legs and motor come a day before/after. I love the solid wood top! I am utilizing all three height settings and enjoy standing all day!

I searched high and low for a good quality stand/sit desk at a good price. I almost settled on one of the particle board options that comes in segments, but I really didn't like that idea. Pretty far down the search results, I found this item with a solid wood top at a great price. Assembly was easy, it's quite well built, heavy, stable, and elevating or lowering is smooth and consistent. I felt like this might be one of those items that is too good to be true, but it's not! Their customer service is also great. I contacted them with a question, and they promptly responded. Looks great and handles the weight of an Ergotron arm with 20lb all in one along with everything else. Added a couple cable trays to the back to clean up the wiring. Worried I wouldnโ€™t be able to assemble without help but with a little ingenuity got it done and couldnโ€™t be happier.

I don't normally leave reviews but I like this enough that I felt like sharing my desk setup! Pros: There are tons of sit stand desks on Amazon, but through my search this is perhaps one, if not the only one that's available at a reasonable price. w/ a solid wood top. Although this is not pine or other more deluxe material, as far as I know, this is real solid wood made out of rubberwood and not MDF particle board like the ones at Ikea or the majority of other sit stand desks. The desk surface has a nice matted sheen texture, not too glossy but not completely matte either. Cons: The minimal height is 28.7", not as low as some of the brand name ones out there. My solution was to add a keyboard tray so I can make the typing surface lower for my personal ergonomics. ... show more
