  • Lightweight and thin
Style: Charger
It’s a very nice product it comes with a magnetic ring in case your phone doesn’t have MagSafe like android phones I put the ring that’s included on the back of the power bank so I can put my MagSafe wallet on the back it’s very thin around half an inch I’d say but I’d recommend getting a short charger like a 6 inch one for your phone so you can charge wired if you care about charging efficiently Pros -It has an input and output usbc port -very thin and light -strong magnets (won’t fall off unless you’re trying to make it come off) -comes with a usbc to usbc charger (although small) -wired charging is very fast 10-15% in 10-20 minutes -very good when in a rush -passthrough charging (you can charge the power bank while also charging your phone at the same time and doesn’t get too hot charges very slow though) Cons -wireless charging is very slow got about 20-25% in an hour (after using this for a few weeks now the charging got more efficient and a lot faster it took 1 full discharge to get it to work properly) -gets pretty warm while charging (not too uncomfortable but it’s noticeable) Misc -hangs a little off my iPhone SE 2022 a little (will hang off the 12 or 13 mini a little as well) -It’s a little thicker than my phone with a case on but it’s not that much of a problem -you have to press the button on the bottom to start charging it (Edit I bought the 13 mini recently and the magnet strength is significantly weakened by the camera bump to the point I can’t even press a button lightly without it coming off my phone) ... show more

  • Updated design
Style: Charger
I bought one of these when they first came out and loved it. Had it for about a year until I lost it recently. I ordered a replacement and it’s different from the launch version. There is now a little notch in the top corner, presumably to avoid the camera on smaller phones. It may still end up blocking the lens, but at least it will lay flat now. The product description doesn’t (currently) mention this feature at all, but I figure it would be helpful to know. It also seems a little slimmer, but that may just be my imagination and I don’t have the old one anymore to compare. Either way it’s comfortable to hold and fits easily into pockets. The MagSafe connection is pretty strong when mounted directly to the back of the phone, but your mileage may vary when using a case. I use a MagSafe case and even then end up losing some strength, but it’s good enough. You can always use the extra metal ring if it’s too weak for your liking. It won’t quite fully charge the Pro Max iPhones, but will get you about 75% from empty. You do have to press the power button to turn the battery on before mounting it, otherwise it won’t charge. That’s a little annoying but not a dealbreaker. Overall I’m a big fan of this battery. You can get larger capacity packs for the same price, but the convenience factor is unbeatable. ... show more

  • Works great for on the go wireless charging.
Style: Juice Pack Wallet
~~*First I should probably say I think at normal price of $40-$50 this is priced to high. I think the price should be around $20-$25. I've bought a few of these, but always got them on sale for $20-$25. Anything over that is to high. Actually I'd probably spend $30 for one, but i would be hesitant & I might not in many situations.*~~ I love these magnetic wireless charging power banks with snap ring for devices and/or cases that do not have one. I use it with my Samsung S23 Ultra. It will cover one of the cameras, but you can still use your phone to take pictures & record video and might not even notice it when using your camera. Just be aware that it does cover one of the cameras in case you have issues while using it. (If you're using. It with S23 Ultra & possibly other phones in the Ultra series.) The included ring will come apart. So if you're using it with a case that doesn't have the ring you might want to use something to secure it to the back better. (Something that will cover/fill in the sides a little & not just glue the base down better. These snap ring is made of layers glued together & it will not help you much if you just have the bottom layer held on better.) Another thing to note is that this battery pack might not give a full charge from a completely dead battery... ...Having more than 1 & being able to swap a dead one out wirh one on a charger can be a good way to use the maximum setting of the battery protection (limits charge to 80% maximum) of your phone. To help prevent it from falling below a certain %. (The typical person would need at least 3. 1 for phone & one for each home & work. They might also want to keep one in the car for when they go other places, but leaving a battery in the car that might get really hot & also cold might not be the best thing for the battery. (2 people using them would need at least 5, but it might be better if they both had a spare at home. So they might need 6 or even 8.) One other thing I noticed is that it doesn't seem to work as well with a cheap case I got with the built in ring. (The case prevents other wireless chargere without the magnet from working at all. Had I not used them with other magnetic cases prior with no issues I would have thought they weren't compatible with the magnetic case. One of them being a older 10 watt 5 coil charger that surprisingly worked with the magnetic ring on the back. (I wasn't the one that used it. I also replaced with one of the newer Samsung 15 watt ones that I didn't have to worry so much about someone putting things on. Even though generally nothing other than a phone is ever really put on it.) So just FYI, if you do have issues, it might be the case & the ring they used. (Placement and/or size & other possible materials.) ... show more

  • Great if you have reasonable expectations
Style: Charger
I got this for a phone with a 5,000mAh battery, the same capacity as this power bank, but I can only charge my phone about 50% with light usage, this is because wireless charging is inherently inefficient, plus I'm using the case which brings the cool in my phone and the coil in the power bank further apart lowering efficiency even more. You will not get 5000mAh out of this which is no fualt of Mophie's, but even so I think it's a great product. The adapter ring sticks well to my case even though it has ridges and the magnets hold together really well. I think a good balance was struck between size and capacity. It also gets warm, but not to the point that I believe it's seriously lowering the lifespan of any components. TL;DR: it's a good power bank with a good mag safe adapter for non-apple phones, and if you come into the purchase knowing that wireless charging is inherently inefficient, you'll be happy. ... show more
