The installation went well and the advice to take the sensor off before filling was much appreciated. The only thing I changed for the installation was to use a piece of belting for the bottom to give clearance for the sensors. .y belting is almost a half inch thick. I used the bandsaw and a holesaw to make it. Industrial supply for many industries use belting and may have a scrap. The unit works very well and I'm a happy camper with it.

Seems to be working and accurate. The set up process is very straight forward. The only problem you might run into is this.... the tank mounting hardware from your manufacturer might be in the way of the tank's sending unit. If a bolt touches the sending unit it will send false information or show no information at all. The pre-drilled mounting points are kind of random, and depending on what holes they used at the factory might create this problem. The simple fix, just drill a new hole that's out of the way and not making contact with the sending unit.

Using these on two propane tanks for rv. Seem to be working well but when I received them neither sensor worked due to dead batteries. Luckily I had spare cr2032s laying around

I'm 90% sure some Chinese company will "Knock off" this technology and offer it cheaper (which is unfortunate, because it's worth every penny for what it does) at some point. I can't think of ANY better way to monitor my RV's (Travel Trailer) propane levels than with this kit. On an RV, the tanks are under a cover, so checking the level of propane is a special kind of pain. Without unbolting them, shaking them, pouring water on them, or relying on notoriously inaccurate "inline, pressure gauges" I can now check the real-time levels of propane in BOTH of my tanks. It turns out that even though we've been camping now for our 2nd season (weekend warrior state parks style...), we have only used a little of the propane in one tank, and a tiny bit of the other (just for testing the switchover valve of our TT). 57% in Tank1, 90% in Tank2 Sweet. I can save the cost of "upgrading to 30lb tanks" since I've learned that it is simply not necessary for our seasonal camping style.

Since it is wireless you can use your phone to check propane level. When yhe tanl is low I swith over to the other tank have not run out of propane since getting these.

Pay attention to the set up of the smaller push button gauge, to be sure it shows the volume in your tank. It’s preset for the bbq size tank so if your tanks are larger, you’ll need to change the display settings. Easy to install if you don’t have issues moving your tanks in and out of the rig. The rubber tank bottom stand offs, help to keep the transmitter sensors from being crushed. I used dielectric grease on the bottom of the tank and it works well. These are very handy to keep track of how much LP remains in the tank.
