- Traditional 7-Ply Construction. The most common skateboard construction consists of seven layers of maple wood veneer, which are pressed and glued together with strong adhesive. Maple is a dense hard wood that provides excellent strength and pop, making it the tried and true standard for decades.
- Moose decks feature a modern shape. Full of pop, Moose boards have a mellow concave with steep kicks. The perfect combination of flex, stiffness, strength, and lightness.
- Moose decks come in a variety of sizes from 7.25 to 9.0. There are no hard rules on what size skateboard should be ridden. Really nice deck! I got this to paint for my boyfriend as an anniversary gift and he loves it. Definitely sturdy, and had a really nice color (before I covered it!). I've had some people ask me about doing custom boards for them, and I like that I can pick different sizes. The board has a nice weight to it, and is sturdy enough that I think would be perfect for people looking to learn to skate. At this price, it's perfect for beginners. Word to the wise, there is no grip tape on this so you'll have to do your own. I got mine done at our local skate shop. All in all, I'll be buying again for future paint projects!

We love this deck. It's a good entry level deck that's solidly made and I'm not wasting money on some graphics when we wanted to make our own design anyway. I bought an 8" for my son, and now I'm about to buy an 8 3/4" for me! I am about 260 lbs and had no problem feeling ok on his board, not that you should probably be putting that much weight on it! We did a custom camo paint job and he loved that he got to put it together himself. We will definitely be buying more Moose Skateboards in the future!
